This is the ONLY REASON I'm supportive of Post Count, but the Negatives that come from it are just too great. Spamming and even more moronic posts...

I disagree to the post count as well.. I rarely post, but check the site almost 2-3 times a day...

hey otmalize quit trying to increase your activity meter by posting just "---." What are you some type of NOOB.

In reality I do agree with this idea with one minor tweak--include an inactive counter. That way one can see if, ever the agent has been inactive and possibly a little graphic saying what the longest time he was inactive for.

While this may work against certain people that go on vacation, get locked up, move and lose internet connection by seeing what day the account was created and after 3 seasons was only inactive once for 5 days it could be chalked up to internet unavailability.

Just my thought as to a way to increase the effectivness of this idea

Well in theory the activity counter would do just that.

Say you set the counter max = 20

So if I log in once a day for 20 days my counter would be full.

If I failed to log in for the next 20 days my counter would be empty.


It's not meant to be a life time activity tracker, but one for rolling time period in the immediate past (in the example above 20 days)

This way you see a guy who is active today but his activity meter is low...then you could be more wary of a guy who wasn't.

To add more "lifetime" weight to the thing you could change the color of the activity meter for each consecutive full 20 days the player is active.

By example:

Say you have had a full activity meter for double (in the example, 40 days of login) then your activity meter would turn from say "red" to "gold"...and if you go triple (60 days) it transitions to "green"

if you did this then you would loose a color rating for each day also.

example-

say you had a green activity meter, then you miss a day of login...not only do you loose the point from the meter but it goes from green to gold...if you miss the next day you loose another point and it goes from gold to red.

I'd rather have an intelligence meter. Subtract a point or points from the meter every time someone posts something stupid. Name calling, asking the same simple questions to which the answers are posted in a sticky, extreme misspellings, typing in all caps, etc., etc.

That way I at least know whose posts to avoid reading.

I actually don't think the meter is a bad idea. I also like the karma point system.

Basically I want to be rewarded for how much time I waste on this website, lol.
