How about we have the facility to 'build' equipment with addons. For example:

Footwear: Pink Shoe + Neon Laces + Gold studs
Head: Helmet + Pink gumshield + nekkid lady sticker
Hands: Glove + Ring + Nail polish

etc.

you almost had a good idea.

Advance equipment should be an add on to your current equipment. *I wish*

I was kidding about the nail polish. People can keep that kind of behaviour for when they are alone in their own attic.

Agreed. The Adv equipment should be an add on, not a replacement.

I really agree with this post. It should be a add on Bort, because alot of us already built our players the way we want. Now we think we are going to get something extra and NO.

It makes sense from a RPG point of view. Each equipment could have a number of add on slots next to it which can be changed around depending on the advanced equipment you have bought.

This way when you go off on each adventure (Play a game for the non-geeks) you can choose what to equip. Makes each game exciting as a player as you would be looking at the opposition strengths and weaknesses and making decisions based on that.

You can stockpile add ons then, as every good RPGer knows, hoarding is one of the most exciting parts of playing the games. THEN you could add limits to the amount of stuff you can own and THEN you could add the facility to buy apartments and houses to store more and we could draw pictures and post them up.

Of course, the alternative, is that these pieces of advanced equipment are reserved for new slots. For example, necklace, earring, tatoos etc. You can't buy regular equipment for those slots, you can only fill them with the advanced pieces.

Yes. Have it laid out something like this:

Body

|EQUIPMENT| |ADV EQUIP 1| |ADV EQUIP 2|

Head

|EQUIPMENT| |ADV EQUIP 1| |ADV EQUIP 2|

Hands

|EQUIPMENT| |ADV EQUIP 1| |ADV EQUIP 2|

Feet

I want spots for tattoos.

I wonder why Bort hasn't done this yet? I keep refreshing. I want a diamond stud earring for my WR. And a Boz style haircut for my LB.

You would have to rework the adv eq as it is now.. or it would be too sick.. players running about with +8 to a skill etc!

Maybe add color coded sets.. ie Red Cleats + Red Laces + Red Studs = +1 bonus to str

Would have thought starting with the adv item and adding basic stat items would be more logical.. could even keep it similar to what we know already.. so at level 8 you can add laces to cleats.. at level 16 studs.. lv 24 adds a toe cap.. etc etc

I would like to see it where you can either have the basic equipment or 2 advanced equips per spot.

Not a combination of the both.
