Jump catch or one handed catch is not gonna help a CB make an INT. It will help a CB if yo put him at WR. This stuff just makes it easier for the bad builds to get worse. Why make it harder on those that don't have a clue when building players in the first place?

Note: Bort, still didn't answer about CB's using the WR abilities on defense. I'd assume by your responses that they CAN use them to get interceptions...

DTs/DEs can make great use of the Blitz SA.
I imagine there are plenty interesting combinations out there.

Stuff like jump catching could help, because it's basically just a bonus to jump catch height and catching ability. Catching is catching is catching.

Ya, the first time Bort has responded to something I said!

But seriously, I think that maybe some of the SA's may need re-wording to make them more clear since they are no longer position specific (i.e. Turn Shoulder would be awesome for RB's by just reading its description).

Somebody needs to compile all the comments here on a sticky thread so everyone won't keep asking which SA's work at which positions.

Bort, I'd still like to know if someone is better having split SAs (2/2 quick cut and change direction) rather than concentrated ones (only 4 on either quick cut or change direction) due to diminishing returns or if the way those 4 points are divided won't matter at all.

Thanks!

It's not actually possible to get both at the same time (or at least it shouldn't be possible). Guys who have change direction will only get gear with change direction, and guys who have cut will only get cut gear.

Yeah, it seems cut is the offensive version, while change is the defensive one. I'm assuming guys with neither skill won't get equipment from both kinds; offense ones will get cut gear while defense ones will get change gear.

Anyway, thanks again!

Blitzing means rushing the QB when he is trying to pass, for the purposes of the sim.

Nice. Might be worth upgrading the Blitz +1 gloves I bought for my DE.

Just to finish that list (though some SAs are not in the rotation yet)

SA Stiff Arm:
useful for defenders (I guess not)? useful for blockers (C, G, OT)?

SA Head Fake / Spin / Juke:
useful for defenders to fool a blocker moving towards them?

SA Spot Blitz:
talks about a FB, but useful for HB and RG too?

SA Route Run:
useful for blockers or defenders (I guess not)?

SA Absorb Pain:
useful for defenders (especially lineman)?

SA Trash Talk / The Glare:
works for players far away from the QB (like FS) too?

SA Swat Ball:
does that anything for receivers (shouldn't i.m.h.o.)?

SA Strong Base / Wall:
useful for offensive lineman too?

SA Super Vision:
useful for offensive players too?

SA Tunnel Vision:
talks about a DE, but useful for DT and blitzing guys too?

SA Aura of Intimidation:
talks about a LB first and a radius then. So will a CB be able to influence the WR and a safety to influence anyone?

SA Smooth Operator:
talks about a CB, but useful for safeties and LBs too?
