I just kinda see a reversal of roles on who is complaining this season.

Last season and the season before, the player only agents were complaining they didn't get any updates. Now team owners are complaining they didn't get any updates and they want a major overhaul to an AI system that is barely a month old and I spent the entire last season fixing and refining. We'll get to it, but it's not going to be an overnight deal.

Bort you can't honestly tell me you thought people would be 100% pleased with that AI system.

The interface was horrible and the offense offered nothing.

It's often in passing and I'm not going to upload it for a few days until I'm done with the other piece. If I announce it right away we get "is this live yet, why did it get announced if it's not live" for 5 days.

Easy, start saving all none critical changes to be done once a week so that people know when its coming they can read the notes posted with the changes and adjust as normal.

I seriously do try to announce just about everything that's important.

Sometimes I wonder if people want us to just post an announcement every single day that says "we're still here, and we are working on stuff?"

I feel that most of us realize that, unfortunately we live in a fast food society. The training is rice cakes, it's ok if your in that kinda stuff, but I want the prime rib, smothered with course horse radish. I am patiently waiting for the game to become a better football sim, then get better with the graphics. I do enjoy the idea of advanced equipment, just wish it wasn't so random, gets a little frustrating. But Most Of All the gutting issue needs to move twords a resolution of some sort. Start something for that issue please.

One last thought. We should do something to consider a board for player owner disputes.

Keep up the hard work and know that we do appriciate the diligence.

We understand this, but what is the point of adding more features if the current features aren't working as they should? You're only creating more work for yourself.

The fact of the matter is that I spent pretty much the ENTIRE last season making updates and fixes to the sim and the AI stuff, and I'm still doing it every day now. Sim related stuff probably gets 70-80% of my time on average.

The training stuff took a few days!!! I didn't spend a month working on it. I spent 3-4 days. I spent a month (the season's length) working on everything the owners are complaining about me not spending time working on. It takes a lot of time to test and get things right. We're in season 5, I've been working on it every season for large swaths of time, and yet we're still not where I'd like it to be.

Those agents that were complaining about not having things to spend points on with their players were saying it was a dealbreaker for them, just like owners are saying the AI is a dealbreaker for them now. They wanted something to do every day with their player, and we gave it to them.

Sometimes I forget that I even added an update, too, if it was a quick one, if I'm working on something else major at the same time. Then people get bent out of shape that I didn't announce it, but it was something that took like 30 seconds of my time in comparison to the other piece that to 5 days.

I don't understand the unwillingness to just make some solid notes on what you change right when you do it...and then post them. You time would go from 30 seconds to what a min? Is that to much to ask?

maybe a coming soon thread in the announcement forums or something?

Of course I know it's not 100% done and people aren't 100% happy with it. I plan to add more to it as we go. Why does everyone think that once something is uploaded, it's the final version of it and we'll never update it ever again?

And keep out all the comic posts in threads that belong as IMPORTANT. Seriously man we don't need every Mod and their BFF posting over something you're telling the community. That really sucks when you have to read 12 pages of crap to find a tasty morsel.

All we need is info from you pertaining to the game , not a freaking love fest.

cerneo please don't come into my thread talking like that we are discussing issue's
that people have and thoughts on them, thanks

question , what about replays for field goals and extra point trys, is that hard to code? seeing those would be a big plus for kickers, just asking dunno how easy/hard that would be. but i think it would add to the sim game alot

Most of us realize this. Those that don't, don't understand that you could not of tested every single aspect of the update. Keep the updates and coming and try to allow all sorts of builds to play out the way the builder is intending. If that build fails for what ever reason, it fails, but allow many different types of builds to succeed in their own ways if at all possible. This is a great game, and much needs to be played with. I think that perhaps a slightly larger staff for customer service would solve many issues. No one is going to be 100% satisfied 100% of the time.

Track record. Make something that doesn't work and go on to make something else.

That belief has become very prevalent this season as the equipment thing was added, but there's still glaring holes in the sim.

Edit: Spelling and punctuation.

That would be seriously awesome! Phenomenally useful source of communication. Plus it lets us know how nutso hard you're working.
