If a team gets annihilated because of it, so be it, but in the Pros letting up at any point can become a death sentence for a team that got lucky enough to break out to an early lead against a really good (or even better)team.
If feelings need to be preserved, keep it for the lower leagues (BBB maybe A) but get it out of the Pros and AAA at the least, teams at those levels should not be worrying about a 255-0 blowout happening to them.
