I don't care what the point differential is, if my team happens to get lucky and go up by 28 or 35 in a game I don't want them to slow down and give the other team a chance. If a team gets annihilated because of it, so be it, but in the Pros letting up at any point can become a death sentence for a team that got lucky enough to break out to an early lead against a really good (or even better)team.

If feelings need to be preserved, keep it for the lower leagues (BBB maybe A) but get it out of the Pros and AAA at the least, teams at those levels should not be worrying about a 255-0 blowout happening to them.

Cruise control is outdated at best. It needs to be set at 50 or higher, but even then, how do we give our backups some love?

Lol, half serious there, just want it fixed so a team of similar level can't make a comeback.

I don't pay money to boost my players just to have them borted (nerfed) in mid-game. If the team we're playing sucks, then our stats should be ridiculous. The New York Giants wouldn't beat East Jersey High School 38-7...so there is absolutely no reason a team of lvl 30+ players should beat a team of lvl 5's 38-7.

Yes.

And it makes stats more artificial, not more realistic. Players should only ever play at their true talent level.

It seems more people are against cruise control than are for it.

It'd be really nice to see an official comment on this.

Yep, and cruise control is not the answer. What we need is a more rigidly-structured league system. Have a maximum and minimum level for each league...move teams mid-season if you have to. Until their is league parity, this is always going to happen.

Cruise control is putting a bandaid on a bullet wound. It's attempting to fix one problem while creating another problem that is arguably bigger than the first one.

Cruise control was put in to:

a) solve energy problems from playing gutted teams
b) help keep scores from getting run up to 1000-0 vs gutted teams (plays taking a realistic amount of clock time was also supposed to help, but that got slammed too)

Cruise control has been set at 60 points since the beginning of this season (after a suggestion last season).

60 points is more than fair.

So it looks like the OP's team just got shut down.

I played a gutted team today, sure it was nice to rack up the 1000 yards of offense, and get the cheap win. My teams needs them, i'd much rather have the games "closer" score wise. I'd prefer to see more scores like the Florida Citadel game 70-14.

Seems like once you get around around 21-28 points up it kicks it..

So, since all the gutts are pretty much moved we can also remove the CC
