since the only thing we have as players to spend money on is training and equipment(and the eq fund basically takes care of upgrades) I suggest training be free for a couple of reasons.
1) with all the stranded free agents in this game, they wont need an unemployment system to continue to play, so hopefully there will be less inactives by allowing unemployed players to continue to train to make there guys better
2) training seems more like a part of practice, like individual workouts, which most teams provide a place for and incourage players to use throughout the entire life of their contract without charging them for it's use.
this will open the options up for bort to create new things to spend money on, with the too soon additions of the fame aspect of the game ciming to fruition.
if they just add more things to pay for without relieving some of the already in place overhead cost of running a player this will end up with players only signing with teams that can afford to give them the money to get this stuff while still being able to train. this will only end up with more league disparity as the rich continue to be rich with a recruiting edge, and the poor will never be able to compete leading to more sellbacks and gut jobs.
thoughts?
