As has been discussed, one of the first steps to help with team gutting has been put in. CPU players may not longer be traded between teams; only humans can.

Bort, did you see my proposal for the Team gutting problem? I tried to look at the problem from a totally different angle than I had seen posted. I also tried to take into account the ease with which it could be coded and integrated. It's buried on pg 33 of that thread.

i'm fine with that but i think we should be allowed to cut them without losing chemisty... if not i guess they'll just rot on my team til thier contracts are up

Nice move Bort, we're starting in the right direction. A team was just gutted just yesterday or the day before in the Western Europe AAA League.

Awesome. I was never a fan of teams trying to sell CPUs to other teams when you could find them so easily by searching for CPU players.
And now those guys who hoarded CPUs to sell are going to have to decide to take the salary hit for the rest of the season or lose quite a bit of chemistry.

So I'm assuming this means you can't trade one for cash considerations either? What about those trades that are pending currently, will it not go through with this evenings update?

Any currently pending trades will still go through. New trades will not allow you to select CPU's.

I am currently trading a lvl 8 CPU CB for a lvl 2 human WR...it is pending

I agree that with this change it doesn't matter if they affect chemistry any more. The reason they affected chemistry is that we wanted to discourage the day trading of them. That means I'll be updating it.
