This was certainly an interesting rankings to make. A few teams came out of nowhere in the playoffs and went flying up the board (hi Washington Bullets). Others were punished for early exits. After the dust settled, we had a unanimous #1 despite some debate.

Final Regular Season Rankings-http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1998613
Previous Rankings-http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1950088

1. (-) West Scranton Invaders (8)
Oceania Pro League Champions
bhall43-Just a solid season. Only one scrimmage loss, granted to a Kalamazoo, but your wins against the solid teams were good enough for me. It was a tough call for the top for me, but I went with you guys.
GMathiasf-Never flinched in a league game. 20-0 with their closest game being the 23-point Championship. This was an easy placement for me.

2. (-) Santiago Benitos
South America Pro League Champions
bhall43-I really feel like you guys may have been fortunate as the #2 seed. Both losses were to CPL East teams. But the committee seen more out of you guys I guess.
GMathiasf-Kept their win streak alive with a come back win over KrAzY in the Championship, but I think it demonstrated that Halifax probably deserves this spot. Certainly a top 3 team, but winning CPL the way they did, was just more impressive imo.

3. (+5) Halifax Explosion
Canada Pro League Champions
bhall43- Really wanted to rate you guys #1...but couldnt bring myself to rate you over WSI with all of WSI's solid scrimmage wins. I think you got robbed of second place tho.
Boomer82-Halifax- Just a damn good team that, even at #3, could be very underrated.

4. (NR) Washington Bullets
USA Pro League Champion
boomer82-Great run to the USAPL title, overcame a lot to beat the Marauders in the final.
GMathiasf-This was a ranking I don't like at all, but the committee thought winning USAPL was enough to garner it. Top 10 was deserving, but I can't forget a mediocre season. 4 Playoff wins, all by a TD or less, lucky?

5. (+14) Minnesota Marauders
USAPL West Champion
GMathiasf-SFFire, MEM, and HHW only to lose to the Bullets? Is USAPL East underrated?

6. (-3) Monmouth Evil Monkeys
USA
GMathiasf-Other teams were punished worse for an early exit. Still a tremendous team, but anything less than a Championship is a little disappointing for them.

7. (-4) Dryden Blues
Canada
GMathiasf-Weren't as close to Halifax as the score showed. A little let down at the end of the season.

8. (-2) Honolulu Hurricane Warriors
USA
boomer82- Avenged their earlier loss to the Navigators, would love to see a couple top 10 teams scheduled for scrims

9.t (+2) KrAzY MoNKeYs
SAPL Zeta Champions
GMathiasf-Almost nipped the Benitos in the Championship. Always a top 10 team when it matters.

10. (+5) Cincinnati Shockers
USA
GMathiasf-Can they make the real jump to an elite team next season? They were pretty damn close by the end of this one.

11.tie (-6) Lincoln Navigators
USA
GMathiasf-Quiet end to a great season. Certainly turned some heads as runner-up in Landry's and Top 4 team in USA West.

11.tie (-2) Windsor Cheetahs
Canada
GMathiasf-A large step behind Dryden and Halifax.

13.tie (-6) Marblehead Longhorns
Canada
GMathiasf-Pretty boring end to a great season for them.

13.tie (+5) Stewart Ballers
EEPL Champions
GMathiasf-One of three pro teams to finish 20-0 this season. They definitely bring it when it matters. Hats off to a great 1st season in the Pros.

15. (NR) SoCal BDC
OPL Zeta Champion
turnit643- Nice season 7 run to the OPL title game. Established yourselves with the big boys. A few more scrims next season would help.

16. (NR) Ho Chi Mean Hot Mamas
SEAPL Champions
James128 - You guys have to go out and play people other then the Huskies next season if you want to stay on this poll.
GMathiasf-Very impressive in their Championship run. I had you even higher.

17. (NR) Drinkin' Hellraisers
CPL West Champions
boomer82-Finally overcame the Hobos & won the West, lol no more?

18. (-9) Porto Alegre Smugglers
South America
James128-Not sure why your this low. Maybe you should add more cupcake teams to your schedule like some of the other teams on this list.
boomer82(In response to James above)-Really? They have a whopping ONE scrim win v. Top 25 teams, their best wins are all in league (granted 1 very good win v. K Monkeys, 2 quality v. BAB & Montevideo). BAB also came back and beat them in the playoffs, so that win was "negated/avenged".

19. (-2) Bandar Lumpung Pigskin Pirates
SEAPL Naga Champions
GMathiasf-Win their Conference and drop two spots. Go figure.
boomer82-Small sample of good games, excited to see this team in tournaments next season

20. (NR) Last Gunfighters of Texas
APL Champions
turnit643-Took the APL crown, solid scrim schedule. Congrats on another nice season.

21. (-5) ***Official*** Footballguys
USA
GMathiasf-Nice 1st season in the Pros. Looking forward to seeing them next.

22. (+3) Prague Punishers
Eastern Europe
GMathiasf-Other teams just let down more. Tough 2-point loss to Stewart on FG with :29 left in Conference Championship

23. (NR) Stockholm Meatballs
WEPL Champions
turnit643-Cinderella takes the WEPL title. Going to have to go out and defend now.

24. (-10) Louisiana Screaming Pelicans
Southeast Asia
GMathiasf-Did enough during the season to hang on here.

25. (NR) Woodridge Lumberjacks
WEPL Alpha Champion
turnit643-Outstanding performance in WEPL falls short at the end. Didn't shy away from tough scrims.

Teams that fell of the list: (12) Lake Opeta Legionnaires, (13) Korb Destroyers, (20) Black Forest Mercenaries, (21) Green Bay Maulers, (21) East St. Louis Tire Fires, (21) San Francisco Sucka Frees, (24) Adriana Lima Beans

Others receiving votes: Green Bay Maulers, San Francisco Sucka Frees, Lake Opeta Legionnaires, Korb Destroyers, Banzai Pipeline Nites, Buenos Aires Barracudas, Ufa Panthers, San Francisco Fire

idiotic statement imo.

They did the goddamn work, didn't they? What else do you want out of a USA Pro team.

Best rankings I've ever laid my eyes upon.

Scrims are scrims. Regular season and playoff wins are the ones that count the most by far.

Just one man's opinion.

Weak league?

3 points

1.) Beans deserve to be up there for the Benitos and Dryden wins alone if nothing else. And holding a juggernaut like Halifax to 16 points might have been the greatest defensive effort of all time

2.) Strength of schedule had very little to do with these rankings

3.) The top 3 teams could have/should have played each other to determine a champion.
