Hi and welcome to the Corsair recruiting FAQ.

Q: Just who do you think you are?
I am coderage. I've been playing GLB since the end of season 2, scouting since season 4 and got my first GM position in season 7. I'd like to think I know how to build solid defensive players and am using this team as an excuse to figure out the offense of this game better.
Q: What's your plan for the Corsairs?
The immediate goals all revolve around financial stability. I want to rapidly build up a stadium over the next 2 to 3 seasons so that when team focus is changed from making money to winning, we'll be able to pay for the luxuries such as high level equipment and the salaries of the beefier level players.
Q: Why should I bring my player on-board to lose every game?
The goals for the season may not be winning, but we will be planning for every game and trying to win regardless. I'm just being realistic about it. I won't be investing in a full roster which means there will be limited depth at each position and that means that the chances of winning are reduced. However, I feel that well-built players, dedicated agents and good game-planning can overcome the limitations I'm imposing on the team by keeping a skeleton sized roster.
Q: What if my player isn't as well-built as you say you're expecting?
We'll take them on anyways and help you fix them as best as we can. With the absurd number of teams out there, we can't be picky. And since winning isn't the top priority right now, we have the time to develop all of our players to be better.
Q: What expectations do you have of anyone that signs for the Corsairs?
There are no expectations. We don't require boosting, we don't require custom equipment and we don't require any significant level of activity (although it would be nice!).
Q: What are you offering for my player?
Playing time, build assistance and freedom for your player. What we won't be providing is absurd amounts of money in the contracts or much equipment money (at least until the stadium is far enough along). Due to the limited roster, each player should be able to get max XP with every game helping you to level them faster.
Q: 'Freedom for your player'? What does that mean?
No build requirements and if you ever want out of the team, we'll gladly release you or trade you to wherever you like. It's your player, I'm not going to imprison them on the roster if you don't want to be there.
Q: That all sounds good, what positions are you still looking for?
Please consult the list below.
Offense
OG - 2
C - 1
Defense
DT - 1
DE - 1
LB - 2
Q: Hey, I have one of those positions available, where do I sign up?
Post your interest in this thread. I'll be filling the roster on a first-come, first-serve basis. So posting here not only helps me figure out who wants in first, but it also bumps it back to the top helping us to find more agents like yourself for this team of the future! I look forward to hearing from you.
Q: I'm a GM, would you like to give me money for a player?
No, not really. Since I'm trying to build up the stadium, I need all of the money for that. Also, I don't want to trade for a player that you don't want for some reason. If on the other hand they would like to join the Corsairs (and lets face it, who wouldn't?), I may consider it if they contact me first.
