he tucks the ball right away

when a QB scrambles, it doesnt identify the play as a pass, it counts as a rush

scrambling is something you do when you stay in the pocket and avoid pass rushers not try and run for a gain

That's a designed run... Not a scramble.

Obviously biased with the Gators pic there. Tebow is a good athlete, but he is not the greatest player ever in NCAA history like a lot of people try to make him out to be. He's not even the best QB in college at this point. There were 4 better QBs in the Big 12 alone last year between Bradford, McCoy, Harrel and Daniels.

No, Tebow has been one of the best QBs in the NCAA over the last 2 seasons and arguably the best overall player yet is constantly being torn down and constantly has people talking about how he's not a good QB and not a good player, how can you over rate someone that most everyone tears down? It's simple logic. And there weren't 4 better QBs, you could make a case for McCoy and Bradford but when you add in Tebow's rushing and passing numbers, they didn't outperform him too badly and you also have to add in the fact that he led his team to a NC and the difference between the 2 conferences(Big 12: Offense, SEC: Defense).

Add McCoy's rushing in as well then. Also the NCAA record for team points scored for Bradford. Daniels did underperform to expectations, but I don't see how you can disagree with Graham Harrell being in the discussion with the ungodly numbers he put up, even if he was a system QB. He's a great athlete and leader, but I just don't see Tebow surviving as a pro QB unless he changes his game, because the NFL has fallen out of love with QBs that scramble better than they pass.
