Player Retirement: Players play for 10 full seasons before their skills start to decline faster than they can train. The 10th Season is a "Plateau Season" where you gain no experience and cannot boost. Players can play the 11th Season and on, but their skills will be declining the longer you that you play.

When a player retires you get the initial player creation cost (100-400 FP) back and 70% of any FP you spent on that players boosting and/or custom equipment. You can use this FP to start a new player or buy/renew a team. Yes, you will be able to renew a team for 400 FP a year before you lose it.

This game is going to be as fair and as realistic as we can make a game like this. Player's can't play forever, that's football. We will have a Hall of Fame and Record books so your greatest player can go down in GLB's annuls for all the world to know that your player is the best.

(A Full Season: If a player is born on day 30, Season 1 then their first "Full Season" will be completed on day 30, Season 2)

Injuries: Their will be injuries, but not injuries that make your player to miss a game. Just some injuries where your player might have some games that they play at reduced capacity (like 5%-50% off of some or all your normal abilities for example).

League Restructuring: Will be a Pyramid-Style Tiered setup.

One Pro will link to two AAA leagues, the AAA's will link to four AA leagues, the AA's will link to 8 A leagues, linked to 16 BBB leagues, etc. 2 from each league move up, 4 move down.

-Pro Leagues have no Promotion. We have a good idea for something in the future here though.

-Lowest Tier Leagues have no Demotion.

Tactics: We are working on improving the tactics to be more in-depth...things like formations, position-based stamina substitutions, what to do on 4th, when to kick a punt, etc. This will take a little while to finish as it is a large update. Hopefully we can get it live early in the next season.

Search: We added a Basic Forum search feature.

Just to confirm: does that mean there will be 32 teams in the US Pro League after its first season?

Okay, sorry. So this season's champions will stay, the other 31 will be relegated, etc. Gotcha.

the Restructuring is horrible

if i dont finish in the bottom four i do not wanna be removed from the Pro League.....

Weak League? Are you kidding me? Do the math.

Edit: Suggestion, since the user growth is literally so high, why not consider doing the same for the other leagues at some point in time?

31 leagues

31 pro teams spreadout between them

a bunch of lvl 1-4 teams because of new leagues

hmm my lvl 7-10 team facing 70% new teams

is that fair to the "weak leagues"?

just wastes my season

I have to agree there. Shuffling out all but 1 team seems a bit excessive.

I'll actually second that now. That is overly excessive in my opinion. I'd say top 16 teams.. but that's just me. :S

What will happen to the teams that don't win their championship? Do they stay in that league, even if they're the worst team?

I was told that I would have to "build my team up". This just seems like a roll of the dice now.

So you "fixed" the USA League. Do the rest of us owners that have teams in other regions get left out?

jugs:

1. there will eventually be level caps on certain leagues.

2. People can buy players from your current team next season.

NewEnglandCoach:

1. yes, we will be doing the same for non-USA leagues down the road.
