ANNOUNCEMENT 1
Alright, here's the deal. I want to start running a pee-wee tournament each season but a lot of times what happens is we get people all excited in a tourney and in the first week of the season they get the unfortunate draw of playing a boosted team or have no clue what they're doing -- or their team just sucks and they take up a perfectly good spot in the tourney
So... if there's enough interest I'd like to get this going right now. What will make this tournament different each season is it will not start until DAY 20 each season meaning the gap between boosting teams and non-boosting teams will be a bit smaller and by the time the finals hit (during the playoffs) there will be no room for arguing who the better team is... the field will decide. I'll do it with 8 or 16 teams pending on interest as this is late notice. Though next year I'll advertise earlier. If there's an odd number I will decide based on team greatness (I don't care if you signed up first, I want a solid tourney with the top teams). To qualify you can only have ONE league loss as of now. (Next season you'll have to be at the very least 8-2 but I will favor 10-0 and 9-1 teams).
If interested, reply below your team name, record, and link. I'm hoping to get 16 teams for this. Remember, you CAN NOT HAVE MORE THAN ONE LOSS IN LEAGUE to qualify. Once the brackets are announced you will have 24 hours to get the scrimmage together... if one team is holding it up, I'll kick them out. Ideally I'd like for the tourney to go like this.
Qualifiers: DAY 21/22
Round 1: Day 24/25
Round 2: Day 27/28
Round 3: Day 30/31
Round 4: Day 34

ANNOUNCEMENT 2
Below are the brackets for the first ever PEE WEE UBER ELITE CUP (insert cheers!). Above you will notice the MANDATORY schedule. Please try to follow this as strictly as possible. If you are unable to meet those exact dates due to an already schedule game we will work around (sooner rather than later) but if a team sends another team a challenge and it is not accepted by this date they will forfeit their spot in the tournament, no exceptions. The beautiful part of this tournament is being able to have a stacked line-up of some of the elite teams in the Pee Wee leagues since there is not a tiered system in place for this division. The hard part is since it can not be run until later in the season due to the inconsistency of good teams in Pee Wee leagues then we must run on a tight schedule.
For this first season I have expanded the brackets to include 18 teams with two qualifiers due to wanting to include all teams that met the requirements that applied. Next season I will be forced to cut out some teams that apply based on personal judgment, league records, scrimmage/friendly challenges, and previous season history. Tonight is Wed 5/13 (Day 19) - the qualifiers need to be played between NOW and Sat 5/16 (Day 22). The 1st Round games, that don't include a qualifier, may be scheduled immediately or up till Tues 5/19 (Day 25).
Let the games begin.
