After each loss, sometimes GM's wonder why things went wrong, and sometimes it could be due to certain players not setting tactics to where the GM wants them. What is so PRIVATE about how your tactics are set? Have your tactics locked or unlocked just like your build. Allow GM's and owners to see where each player on his team has their tactics set. That way, they know if a player isn't using what they wanted, and pm them and maybe resolve the issue. There couldn't be anything wrong with being able to see tactics. Especially for those owners that have tons of players and don't post every time in the forums that their tactics are "set". If gm's could see, they could send a friendly pm reminder.

the general reason people say "no" to this is because they are afraid it would increase rotting. The whole "set my tactics or else thing"


however... it's pretty easy to see a lot of the tactics. I know I've had to send some PMs to agents about setting on aggressive instead of semi aggressive, or set to run focus when I didn't want them etc etc.

if you know what you are looking for, it's not to hard to spot... so I guess there's no harm in saying I wouldn't mind them having a "tactics viewable" drop down just like the build drop down.

Tactics viewable drop down would be awesome.
I've seen my QB's tossing bombs down the field when I asked them to NOT favor long passes, etc... and I got tired of not knowing if they adhered to what I asked. Heck, if they disagree with the way I want them to set their tactics, it's not hard to say "I think I should have it this way because......"

It's easy to see if a player's tactics are set accordingly with some positions just by watching replay.

At the very least this should be implemented on inactive accounts, that way you can adjust your defense/offense properly instead of guess ok the last login was xx/xx and if they set the tactics to this games tactics etc.

Well i suggested this a few times got got bashed about but i dont see the harm in SEEING what people are setting i dont want any control over a person players but i still would like to see what there setting so that i can ask them if they could please change them

you can post topics about changing them till your blue in the face it dont matter if they dont change and if its a big game you cant wait till after to see if they set it cause then its too late

ya I found a lot of people don't seem to read the forums on my teams, so I have to PM certain agents about tactic changes etc. Doesn't bother me one bit, and I'm not about to rot or release and agent because of it, but it's nice to know for sure without just having to guess (even if it is an educated guess based on game film)

I'm against it because tactics are about player individuality and owners try to take that away sometimes

This won't invade "privacy" at all. in my opinion, tactics setting SHOULD Be available for the management staff to see. If a player isn't meshing with the rest of the TEAM, then the management needs to know this

Thats just is all owners want is to SEE if the agent is following suggested tactics

no. As an owner, this is the one of the few aspects players should have private. a good owner and coach can scout his own team and tell if someones not doing th right thing.
