Warrior General Games

First, I'd like to that CCC (who is not in this league) and Copenhagen for some great rivalry games. It has truly been an honor to play, lose and defeat both of you (mostly defeat in CCC's case ).

Today (Day 40) will mark the last day in the Hamilton Zebras existence. A lot of reasons have gone into making this decision, but it is final. While I wish I could continue to run this team and try and make it to Pro one day, amidst all the doubt. But alas, it will not be.

And though I feel we could be so much better in time, that will all have to be speculation. I do have a few things I wish we could do as a club, a title for one, but that was not in the cards.

This said, I am truly proud of my team and all we have accomplished together in just FOUR short seasons. From a 4-12 wreck of a slow building team, to an elite BBB2 team two seasons later, and then to an honest contender in Can A when everyone said we couldn't do it. And that includes a Can A team from last season (possibly this season too) coming to the BBB forums to tell me Hamilton couldn't be good in Can A... 10-6 in our first and only Can A run... I call it a success.

All the Zebras will be available to sign to any team as of tonight (Day 40), provided they do not retire. That includes my three Zebras; Sanders, Johnson, and Fitzgerald.

Cope... You finally got rid of us.

Today is a sad day in the anals of the Copenhagen Monarchs, today we lost our favorit chewtoy.... eventhough you did try to strangel us once or twice.

Even though the divisions where chancing we where looking forward to scrimming you at least once if not twice in the upcomming seasons, and believe me it would not be games we would take easiely, you always where our favorit opponant as we where on even ground and we never certain of the outcome.

You will be missed even though i wont miss the nail biting while waiting for the result

Where ever you and all of your players end up (maybe even on our team, Smashmouth i have to know your build you bully) you will always have our respect as a worthy opponant and a good smacktalker (for fun)

Yeah you were great comp and would like to battle in the future.

And yeah open up those builds

It truly are a sad day, but nothing lasts forever.. You where allways a most challenging team to play. besides that i can only backup on what Maddog had to say.. the fight against you will be missed..

remember the monarchs are allways looking for good talent

I can't speak for everyone else, but my builds will be opened soon. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Zebras take their players to Can BBB#2 alum teams like Cope and even Dixie, if requested. I know those teams will be my first choices if offered contracts from... provided my players role is right.

Well, every player now has a Day 40 contract so... it's done... Or... will be when they sign them and I sell first thing tomorrow afternoon (when I wake up). Again, it's been great, but as Zarixan said, nothing lasts forever, and I'd rather end it now before my work schedule turns my team into a 6-10 joke because I cant recruit or gameplan this/next season.

Sorry about that send off, if I had known you were folding I would have gone basic settings.

Hate to see ya packin' it in. Your organization proved that build/strategy can seriously compete vs higher level opponents. It'll be easy to keep up with some of you guys. Just check league-leader boards. Or better yet, check Rumblefish Roster!
