So the GLB offseason has begun. For some it means a break from scouting and gameplanning, while for others it just means that you're really bored.
But don't hit that Log Out button quite yet! Because the GLB staff has put together another Treasure Hunt for your offseason pleasure.
And this time, I promise you won't have to watch a movie to understand what's going on (lolnorse), because this time it's a SCAVANGER HUNT, and it's been organized just about entirely by the area moderators.
There are 10 challenges, and we'll be posting a few challenges per day, starting tomorrow. Each challenge earns you or your team a different amount of points, and the person or team with the most points in the end wins the challenge. Through these challenges you'll be searching through the darkest depths of GLB - digging through leagues, players, forums, box scores, and anything else our twisted minds can think of.
"But r8," you ask, "what do I get out of this?"
20,000 flex points. That's what.
1st place: 14,000 FP
2nd place: 4,000 FP
3rd place: 2,000 FP
These points have been donated by your friendly neighborhood moderators, area moderators, and administrators, so don't say we never gave ya anything.
Here's all the boring-but-necessary rules stuff. Please read CAREFULLY as deviating from these instructions will mean disqualification from the Hunt.
1) All Goal Line Blitz administrators and moderators, including area moderators, are not eligible to participate.
2) Contacting an administrator, support, or any moderator and requesting assistance with solving any of the GLB Treasure Hunt clues will automatically disqualify you from earning the prize since the staff will report your attempt in the master disqualification list. Each moderator and administrator will make their own judgment on disqualification.
3) Each day, 2 to 4 clues will be given out for everyone in GLB to solve.
4) You may participate as an individual or as a group. If participating as a group, the flex points will be handed out to the members as determined by the group's leader.
5) You will only receive one, repeat, ONE opportunity to submit your solution to the Treasure Hunt. Details on how to make your submission will be provided when the last individual clue is revealed.
6) To win, you must have earned more points than anyone else by following the instructions for each treasure item.
7) If you are participating in a group, you are only allowed to be a member of ONE final group submission. If you are submitted as a member of two different teams, you will be disqualified. Due to this, we encourage you to find one team and stay with them to the end and we also encourage group leaders to be careful of members being brought in (especially if coming from a different team).
8) If you receive a new suspension during the Treasure Hunt, you will be automatically disqualified from winning the prize. If you're currently under suspension and are released from suspension during the contest, are eligible to participate.
9) Some of these challenges will involve looking up old topics. Necro-bumping these topics will result in automatic disqualification.
