No offense, but that's because the general consensus tends to forgive lazy programming because people are desperate for dotball. Its only a matter of time before another competitor comes along and offers dotball that's aggressive about making the customer experience both accurate and user friendly.

Maybe we'll all gather there.

Yes, the mass exodus of GLB because the DT and NT are swapped is coming.

I think that this will be my last season in dotball ...I just don't have the enthusiasm for this game now since the new DPC implementation

...too much bullshit involved in this game now!

...I might just hang with the community forums for a while, but I'm putting the brakes on my game involvement! ...I just don't like how the game has changed ...no more money from me bort!
All I have here is the nostalgia of peewee and the stigma of my remaining flexies!

This should only be an issue in casual TBH

You can shift the DL the way you want and you can play DT with build you want in either spot.

There is no OOP penalty for playing a DT with a pass rush build at NT and a DT with a run stuffer build at the other DT spot.

Really the argument is over which dot has the letter N and which dot has the letter D in front of the T.

well it is a huge deal for casual, as it removes the entire point of the scheme. Every position is set for a specific reason. Further, How many DT types do you think have the general SA, and how many nose types do you think have it? Now you have a DT playing Nose without the SA while a nose plays DT with the SA? No, fix the damn alignments. It is not difficult and it repairs many of the interactions between the 5 OL and the 7 in the defensive fronts without even having to manipulate and nerf anything.
If you want to say something that is correct, simply ask me what to say.

WL caliber? almost 0 and almost 0 (unless you count the 1 from CE)

If you know how the SIM is set up (and it has been set up this way since the beginning), then you create your DTs based on how you know the SIM is set up.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1167263 - 5 DLG and he had a piece of DLG equipment at one pt. when I was naive enough to think DLG might be worth the investment. Definitely a 3 gap DT type build though.

It's actually better for regular defenses the way it is set up now. The NT type that is going to be drawing double and triple teams on every play needs more strength and agility. If you are going to be assigning DLG pts to one of your DTs, you don't want it to be the one that needs more sp spent on 2 primary attributes.

It is a problem for casual though, but I think it is more of a problem of a bad base shift as it is which DT is labeled NT.
