I'd like to see as many Defense Formations as possible, even updates to using it. Like having the freedom to move the SS and FS to anywhere, also would be nice for the Defense Play to Auto-Adjust to their offense. Like if you are in the 4-3 and the O came out in Single Back, be able to cover the WR with a OLB. Because if the OLB is set to Cover the HB, he can switch to the WR automatically because he would sense the WR being open.

Adding a 2nd and 3rd read would really make things much more realistic. NFL Defenses have 2nd and 3rd reads in there schemes why do we not have them in GLB.

Maybe even making them make another vision check (maybe even at a penelty sort of like having to turn your head and locate the next read).. So when you get to the 3rd read you would most likely be in a trail position because it took you a while to find them but I think this should be the next progression to the DPC

This should not be that hard to do one would think. but I have really no idea as I don't write the stuff.

This is done with just what I was talking about in my post.....Right now you can do this by putting the ROLB on the FB/WR in the DPC. Then if the FB doesn't come out (Say like the Singleback or shotgun 3WR set) Then he goes to cover the WR. What I would like to see is this given the to use to use as well if the FB stays into block and you don't want to blitz the ROLB but actually have him go to a 2nd read (in this situation an I formation with the FB staying into block) The ROLB would then make a vision check and move to double the WR#1 instead of just playing a shallow zone behind where he starts out.

The other thing I would like to suggest is to let us decide what zone we want the guy to cover rather then just a small zone behind where the player starts out. This would alow us to further be able to refine our defensive calls. So (using same scenario as above) ROLB covering the FB and if the FB stays into block we can have the ROLB play Med Under Weak Fourth so he can help on a comeback route run by the WR #1 or something like that

Also, I was thinking we could use like a 3-3-5 the way teams like WVU use it where it's their base Defense with 3 DLs, 3 LBs, 2 CBs, 1 FS, 1 SS and 1 Rover(either SS or FS)...also we need delayed blitzes, instead of having to stick the player so far back, we should have delayed blitzes where the LB drops into coverage for a few ticks then blitzes like the ones used IRL.

Ability to choose any allignment as base, and add in 4-4, 5-2 & directional blitzing would please me

Delayed blitzes would be very nice, I would have to agree 100% with this, I would love to have a lb drop back and come in a couple of ticks, Bu it seems the QB's on GLB get rid of the ball very fast. Be it throwing it away or to a player.
I DC a few teams and would love to have the freedom of any formation for any instance, I would say if there were ever a OPC then we would certainly need to have this freedom of countering there schemes.

A delayed blitz would be freaking great to have as well.

This could go in with the reads in my post....we also could use the ability to call for stunts........Imagine being able to call a stunt with a Delayed blitz with the LB's reading for the Backs or TE to go into a route and if he stays in he falls to his next read like the WR1. Dang I am getting all giddy.....

Maybe then the Def would be able to catch up with the Offense

Didn't read this entire thread, but did anyone suggest that we could move and set our defenders without limitations, for example, if you wanted a ROLB to play on the TE, as it sits now there is a range limit as to how far a player position can move?....lol, Not that I would put the ROLB on the TE or anything, just an example...
