I read that somewhere in this forum that it was happening next season. Can someone point me to where it is mentioned? Is it happening for sure? I looked in the change log but did not see it.

Okay, I see many different quotes even from bort that it is "PROBABLY" "GOING" to happen. They talk about details that need to be worked out and all of that. Much like the Coach thing that was for sure going to happen for this season. But I still haven't seen any formal announcement that it is for sure that the last day to boost will be day 41. But I am an old feeble minded man so, maybe someone can show me a true Formal announcement that it is now officially a new policy of GLB.

There isn't a formal announcement because it is still just probable. And it should be assumed as such until there is an annoucment. I don't know what you're worked up about.

Would do well in evening out the lowest leagues.

so we have to dumb down the game for the idiots who cant figure out to boost? just round them up and execute them.. the gene pool will thank you!!

I also think that this rule is necessary for competition's sake. I actually like the idea!! But I have a big problem when rules are changed in the middle of the season after a season's strategy has been put in play. As I said in another thread, this rule will not apply to me. What bothers me is the frequent changing fo rules that can affect how a team or person approaches the game in the middle of a season. If the rule is not so important to make an immediate change, it should be only be changed between seasons period. It should either be announced now,, after the season or not all. It would be like deciding after a player has been built to have 120 speed than saying, "I dont think anyone should have speed over 100 so every point over 100 will no longer be applied in the sim!" That would not be fair to those who set strategy for superior speed! Either apply the rule now or AFTER the season!

Yeah, that's not the reason this change is going in. It's so people can't game the level caps.

level cap only pertains to your max level to sign.. nothing wrong with boosting after...

IF this is changed then will we continue to gain xp till day 410?? there is more to this then just adding a day.. or is bort going to drop the ball on this too??
