So it's been 11 seasons, and with some old faces returning it got me thinking about the great teams we've had over the seasons. So I put my mind to work and put together a list of some of the best of the best franchises this region has seen. It wasn't easy, and some teams were harder than others but here's a look at what's happened over the seasons. No offense to any teams intended, this is obviously one man's opinion on what this region has had to offer. I tried to be as unbiased as possible when creating this list. Hope you enjoy it, I wanted to do something a little different than just another preseason rankings.

10 - Taiwan Blood Pandas(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=11&team_id=1008) - An original AA team, these guys won AAA2 during season 4 earning a trip to the Pros. They quickly made an impact, going 15-1, before falling to the Hot Mamas in the second round of the playoffs. They followed this up with a 14-2 second season, and one of the most impressive Garuda playoff runs ever, before falling just short to ESL in the Super Wok. They were not done however, coming back for a third season and making it to a second straight Garuda championship, falling to the Hot Mamas once more.

Worst Moment - Season 6 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=288066 - Hoping to carry momentum into the Wok vs defending champ ESL, they saw there championship hopes slip away with 17 4th quarter points by ESL.
Key Players - WR - The Revolution Prince (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=30925&playoffs=0) - In his 3 Pro seasons with the Pandas, Prince put up amazing numbers - 263 receptions, 4698 yards and 51TDs
QB - Tommie Frazier (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=81306&playoffs=0) - Longtime TBP QB Frazier helped the Pandas potent offense take the league by storm in season 5.
LB - Dick Cheney (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=40904&playoffs=0) - A game changer at LBer, Cheney was a force in every aspect of defense.
FS - E J (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=126128&playoffs=0) - A ballhawk at FS with the ability to take it to the house, E J was also a heavy hitter who could knock the ball loose from unsuspecting receivers
Biggest Rival - Louisiana Screaming Pelicans - One of the leagues great rivalries, the only regret the fans have is that it was so short lived in the Pros.
9 - Bangkok Tweetys(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=11&team_id=464) - The Bangkok Tweetys quietly put together one of the most consistent runs in Garuda history. This team never missed the playoffs, and nearly completely a perfect season there first year in the Pros. An original AAA team, the Tweety's faced off against the Seamen in the season 1 AAA championship. They then went undefeated throughout the regular season before a drubbing at, you guessed it, the Seamens hands in the Season 2 Super Wok. They twice made the conference championship, and lost in the playoffs to the eventual Garuda champion in seasons 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9. Many times, they would have made the Wok if a few bounces had gone there way. One of the all time great, and classiest franchises in Southeast Asia history.

Worst Moment - Season 2 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=37243 - In there first and only Super Wok, known as the Bangkok Bowl, the 19-0 Tweety's were thrashed by the Seamen 47-0.
Key Players - DE - Haufu Gurugatuppa (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=71920&playoffs=0) - The long time Tweety was part of one of the most feared DE combos in SEA history. His best season as a Tweety featured 80 sacks and 4 forced fumbles
DE - Boomer Zabransky (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=37202&playoffs=0) - The other half of the feared Tweety pass rush, Boomer posted double digit sacks in every season as a Tweety but two.
QB - Jerry Ou (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=43106&playoffs=0) - The longtime QB of the Tweetys helped power one of Garudas best offenses for many seasons.
HB - Napatr San (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=35775&playoffs=0) - The Tweetys HB posted over 1000 yards in 7 seasons and finished his career with 200 rushing TDs
Biggest Rival - Ho Chi Mean Hot Mamas - They didn't really have a rival, but they faced off against the Mamas for over 4 seasons, and in the playoffs twice.
8 - Singapore Flames(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1046) - An original(I believe) A team, the Flames joined what would then become AA1 with the shift. During season 5, they earned a trip to AAA beating the Krungthep Garudas 34-28. Season 6, the Garudas would return the favor beating them 19-16 in the AAA championship. The Flames faced a familar foe week one in there first Pro game, losing to Krugnthep 31-28, in what would be a disappointing first season. They learned from that first season, making the playoffs each season since, and took apart long time league Powerhouse ESL during season 11's Super Wok. The Flames also boast a very impressive out of region schedule during season 11 winning the Coca-cola Tourney.

Greatest Moment - Season 11 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=802425 - After stopping Allstar HB Beav Nizzle twice on the goalline before the half, the fired up Flames took it to the Tire Fires during the rest of the game and captured the Wok in convincing fashion.
Worst Moment - Season 9 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=578597 - The Flames entered the game looking to prove to the league they were to be taken seriously. They left the game humbled and humilated after a 50-9 drubbing at the hands of LSP in the first round.
Key Players - HB - Tank Gore (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=100223&playoffs=0) - The longtime Flame has been one of Garuda's most consistent backs since entering the league. He has posted over 1000 yards each season and has 257 career rushing TDs as well.
KR/PR - Celtic Raider (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=118424&playoffs=0) - The flamboyant return man is one of the regions all time greats at the position.
HB - Ferrari Testarossa (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=59776&playoffs=0) - Coming to the Flames during season 8 Ferrari teamed with Gore to form one of the best 1-2 punches in the league. His worst season in Singapore he still put up 1200 yards and 27 TDs.
CB - Lockdown Champ (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=103577&playoffs=0) - This corner might not get quiet as many picks as some others, but when he does grab one there is a great chance he is taking it the distance, with 14 ints returned for TDs in his career.

7 - Louisiana Screaming Pelicans(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=11&team_id=1063) - An original AA team, the Pelicans(LSP) finally made there way to the Pros after a crushing loss to the Manila Hitmen in the AAA2 championship game during season 5. The Pelicans didn't let that get them down, going 15-1 in there first Pro season, before losing in the second round to the Tweetys. LSP made at least the second round of the playoffs in every Pro season, and reached the Garuda championship in seasons 8, 9, 10. The Pelicans were a true powerhouse franchise, before making the jump to the World League. I feel confident in saying they would have won a Super Wok if they had stayed in SEA.

Greatest Moment - Season 8 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=472303 - In the Garuda championship, it came down to one play in a tie game. One of the leagues all time clutch kickers, Thomas Dempsey booted home the winning points to send LSP to there first Super Wok in an emotional thriller.....
Worst Moment - Season 8 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=473078 - .....And only days later, the league held there breath, as the Super Wok came down to one play. Down 17-16 to ESL in the 4th Quarter, Dempsey lined up once more for a game winning kick, this one with 1:02 left to play. However, in one of the biggest emotional swings in league history, the kick sailed wide, giving the Wok to the Tire Fires.
Key Players - QB - Drew C. Brees (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=162878&playoffs=0) - The on and off QB for the Pelicans had his best season, and possibly the leagues best season, during there season 8 run, with a sparkling 142.6 QB Rating
TE - Boo Williams (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=164231&playoffs=0) - When you think of TE's, Boo Williams is one of the first to come to mind. The long time Pelican, he has broke 1000 yards 3 times in his career, and also adds 72 career TDs
LB - Mark Fields (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=162161&playoffs=0) - A great all around linebacker, Fields has shown the ability to both excel in pass coverage, run support and as a blitzer over his years with the Pelicans.
HB - Shooter MaGavin (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=598588&playoffs=0) - While his time with the Pelicans was short, he was an integral part of there season 8 run, rushing for over 4000 yards and 90 TDs, without fumbling the ball during the regular season
Biggest Rival - Taiwan Blood Pandas - The TBP/LSP rivalry was as heated as it gets. A back and forth series, both teams got there blows in during the many classic battles they had.
6 - Singapore Marauders(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=450) - One of the long time great franchises of the region, Singapore was an original AAA team. They lost to the Ho Chi Mean Hot Mamas in the season 2 championship game, but got there ticket to the Pros. Once here, the Marauders established themselves as a contender early, going 13-3 in there first season before a second round loss to eventual champion Bangkok Seamen. The Marauders made the playoffs in each of there seasons during the Pros by sporting a complete offense coupled with one of the leagues best defenses. They finally hit there stride during seasons 9 and 10, reaching the conference championship game in season 9, losing to eventual champ Bandar. They followed this up by winning the league out right in what was possibly the greatest Super Wok during season 10.

Greatest Moment - Season 10 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=695562 - The Super Wok finally arrived in Singapore after 10 seasons of being a top team. But even then, it didn't come easy. Early in the 3rd quarter, with Singapore down 27-6, they staged the greatest comeback in Super Wok history, lead by league MVP Mack Slaughter, to win in overtime, 37-30.
Worst Moment - Season 8 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=470325 - Losing to eventual champ ESL really sparked a Marauder turnaround, as they went on to go 3-1 vs ESL(2-0 in playoffs) after this game and win there first Super Wok. Singapore may have turned this negative into a positive, but at this point they looked like a franchise in a downward spiral
Key Players - QB - Grady Ryan (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=87074&playoffs=0) - When you talk all time great SEA QB's, Grady will end up on everyone's list. He only threw double digit int's 2 seasons, and posted 100 or better QB rating for 6 straight seasons
HB - Meth Head (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=136785&playoffs=0) - Possibly the most underrated player in SEA history, Meth Head's numbers speak for themselves with over 17000 yards and 256 TDs on the ground.
WR - Jon Blaze (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=62316&playoffs=0) - One of the most dangerous wideouts to ever lace up the cleats, Jon Blaze posted double digit TDs in 5 straight seasons, and twice broke 100 catches and 1900 yards receiving.
HB - Mack Slaughter (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=81242&playoffs=0) - His time in Singapore was short, but his impact was not, winning back to back MVP awards and nearly single handed won the Marauders the Super Wok
Biggest Rival - East St Louis Tire Fires - Only one other team, the Bangkok Seamen, had the success Singapore did vs East St Louis, playing them in the playoffs during seasons 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 - knocking them out in both seasons 9 and 10.
5 - Neo Armstrong Cannon Jet Armstrong Cyclone(NACJAC)(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1853) - If I messed up the name, I appologize, it's been a long time. But NACJAC had a great, albeit short run in SEA. They were one of the first teams to "not care" about the regular season, sometimes not even appearing to care. But they were deadly as anyone in the playoffs when it counted. They first appeared on SEA's radar in AAA, defeating the highly favored Bandar Pirates during season 3. In there first Pro season, they knocked off the defending champs and longtime SEA powerhouse Bangkok Seamen in the Super Wok. They made a second straight Super Wok in season 5, losing a hard fought game to ESL. They made the playoffs again season 6, losing to the Garuda Champion Taiwan Blood Pandas.

Greatest Moment - Season 4 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=139257 - Beating the Bangkok Seamen at the height of there power, when much of the league thought they didn't have a shot. People's Elbow took Ricky Watters place as SEA's most recognizable player.
Worst Moment - Season 6 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=285848 - A loss to the eventual Garuda Champion Taiwan Blood Pandas killed all hopes of a 7th season for NACJAC as they faded away after the loss.
Key Players - DE - People's Elbow (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=116138&playoffs=0) - The most dominant force this league has ever seen, People's Elbow was able to win games by himself, simply destroying offenses in the process
WR - Seventh Wheel (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=292293&playoffs=0) - A dominant player run by team owner dhc1978, Seventh Wheel posted amazing numbers in his 3 seasons here - 238 receptions, 4260 yards and 46 TDs
DE - Rock Bottom (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=111463&playoffs=0) - People's Elbow had a partner in crime, and his name was Rock Bottom. These two formed the greatest DE tandem in the league for 3 straight seasons and gave OC's fits. You might stop one, but you couldn't stop both.
DT - Gold Dust (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=116418&playoffs=0) - Rounding out the leagues best Dline, possibly ever, was DT Gold Dust. At his best during season 5, he had 90 tackles, 33 sacks and a forced fumble.
Biggest Rival - Bangkok Tweetys - This team didn't really have a rival but the Tweetys are as close as it gets, facing them twice in the playoffs.
4 - Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=991) - One of the most popular franchises in league history, the Pirates combined great personalities with a very strong team. Entering the league season 4, they made the playoffs every single season in the Pros. At times, this team was nearly unbeatable, losing only 13 times from seasons 4 to 10 to teams outside of East St Louis(less than 2 a season) An original AA team, they won the title season 2 to move up to AAA, where they quickly ran through the conference before losing in the AAA championship to NACJAC. Bandar then made it at least to the Naga Championship game every Pro season except 4 and 6, winning 1 of there 2 Super Wok apperances along the way.

Greatest Moment - Season 9 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=586538 - After losing in there first trip to the Wok, the Pirates were about to go 0-2 in the big game, before a dramatic 21 point 4th quarter brought home the much deserved Super Wok.
Worst Moment - Season 10 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=590085 - In there last game vs arch rival ESL, the Tire Fires stomped them 52-17 in the biggest loss in the series.
Key Players - HB - Gavin Dunn (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=71209&playoffs=0) - Gavin Dunn was a great all around back, and one of the first true receiving threats out of the backfield in SEA. He was also a threat to score on STs.
WR - Sumerian Prophet (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=96747&playoffs=0) - The former Krakatoan Red Warrior joined a hungry Bandar team season 7 and helped them reach there first Super Wok.
QB - Geoff Dakota (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=176286&playoffs=0) - The long time Pirate split snaps for many seasons before finally taking over as the lone QB season 7, which proved to be the right choice. Few QB's had the career in SEA that Dakota did and he will go down as one of the regions all time greats
LB/ST - Sloth Fratelli (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=115243&playoffs=0) - The do it all Sloth Fratelli has been a turnover machine his entire career with 80 combined turnovers in 11 seasons, including playoffs.
Biggest Rival - East St Louis Tire Fires - These two teams owned the Naga Conference from seasons 5 through 9, with one or the other making the Super Wok each of those seasons, and winning 4 of the 5.
3 - Ho Chi Mean Hot Mamas(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=459) - A team originally from AAA, they moved up after beating the Marauders in Season 2. During there first Pro season, they went 19-1, losing to the 20-0 Bangkok Seamen in the Super Wok. That was the only time in the regions history two 19-0 teams faced off for the title. This team was a power house while here, not losing a regular season game until season 5, and only dropping 9 regular season games in 5 Pro seasons.

Greatest Moment - Season 7 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=372462 - 3 seasons after losing the big game, Big Rat Uno and his hoes went out on top, spanking the Bandar Pirates to capture the Wok.
Worst Moment - Season 3 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=78245 - Making the Wok in there first season, they lost a heartbreaker to defending champ Bangkok Seamen on 2 late field goals in a battle of undefeated teams.
Key Players - HB - Wendell Brown (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=238658&playoffs=0) - A Hot Mama for only 3 seasons, he made a huge impact, including 150 yards and 3 TDs in Super Wok 7
QB - Slinger McGee (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=30436&playoffs=0) - The long time QB of the Hos, Slinger posted over 100 QB rating from seasons 4 through 7, and played in both Super Wok apperances for the Hos.
G - Buster Upsahl (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=30666&playoffs=0) - A force on the line for the Hos, Buster amased over 1100 career pancakes, and broke 100 his first 3 Pro seasons.
CB - Shadow Knight (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=32711&playoffs=0) - A ballhawking CB, he reached double digit ints during season 4, and also had interceptions in both Super Woks
Biggest Rival - Krakatoan Red Warriors - These two teams clashed not only in the Pro's, but also in AAA ball. They had many great battles in what was one of the better rivalries in the history of the region.
2 - East St. Louis Tire Fires(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=997) - These guys have been good for a very long time and are the only long time powerhouse left. The Tire Fires spent there first two seasons in AA, losing heartbreaking Conference Championship games to the Jersey Dragons and BLPP. During season 3, AA became AAA2, and the Tar Fars were on a mission, going a perfect 20-0 and earning a trip to the Pros. After an up and down first Pro season, they found playoff success before falling for the third time that season to the Bangkok Season in the Conference Championship game. This however, fueled the Fire, and ESL went on to win all but 7 games from seasons 5 through 8, including 3 Super Wok victories. They are the only team in the leagues history to have played in 4 Super Woks and made a name for themselves by winning games late, in dramatic fashion.

Greatest Moment - Season 5 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=209716 - The Tire Fires beat the defending Champs, NACJAC in a game that put them on the map, shutting out League Superstar People's Elbow.
Worst Moment - Season 7 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=370112 - the Kamakura Katanas beat the Tire Fires at there own game with a last second victory. This marked the first time ever ESL failed to reach the conference championship and killed hopes of a "3 Peat"
Key Players - HB - Beav Nizzle(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=105121&playoffs=0) - Southeast Asia's biggest and longest Superstar, Beav Nizzle was the heart of the ESL offense for his first 10 seasons.
KR/PR - Iam Ridiculous(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=108633&playoffs=0) - Few return man have as big an impact as Iam did during his time in SEA. He won the field position battle for ESL in nearly every game they ever played.
FS - Frank Stallone(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=91796&playoffs=0) - The backbone of the ESL D for many, many seasons, FS played at an All Pro level for a very long time
K - Moses Prophetson(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=141973&playoffs=0) - The first member of the ESL Hall Of Fame, Moses was near perfect through his career and won many a game for the Tire Fires
Biggest Rival - Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates - This was the greatest rivalry in SEA history, and possibly all of GLB at it's peak. Some of the leagues greatest games were between these two powerhouses.
1 - Bangkok Seamen(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=448) - The original SEA powerhouse, these guys put us on the map. The first team to gain respect outside of SEA, they nearly won one the first major GLB tourneys during season 4 beating ESL, the Manila Hitmen and a few USA Pro teams on the way. They are the only team to ever go to three straight Super Woks, winning it in seasons 2 and 3. The Seamen were run by one of the original great owners of this region, Ben Dover, and dominated for many seasons. There run started to slow down during season 4 when they lost the Super Wok to a great NACJAC team, although they made the playoffs for 6 straight seasons before shutting things down season 7.

Key Players - HB - Ricky Watters(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=27156&playoffs=0) - Watters is the most recognizable member of Bangkok and has come back to his SEA roots this season to finish his fine career
CB - Kelly Bojangles Bojangles(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=71076&playoffs=0) - This guy was the first true shutdown corner in the region and a menace in the defensive backfield
DE - Darryl Tapp(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=35169&playoffs=0) - Teaming with fellow DE Patrick Kerney these guys terrorized QBs in SEA like few teams have.
QB - Jim Zorn(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=26661&playoffs=0) - While Watters was the Superstar, Zorn quietly put together a great career in SEA turning the good Seamen offense into a juggernaught
Biggest Rival - Phuket All, although it was hard to call it a rivalry as Bangkok dominated the series. It was a game that I remember being a big one when I first moved up to the Pro's.

FS - E J (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=126128&playoffs=0) - A ballhawk at FS with the ability to take it to the house, E J was also a heavy hitter who could knock the ball loose from unsuspecting receivers
Biggest Rival - Louisiana Screaming Pelicans - One of the leagues great rivalries, the only regret the fans have is that it was so short lived in the Pros.
9 - Bangkok Tweetys(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=11&team_id=464) - The Bangkok Tweetys quietly put together one of the most consistent runs in Garuda history. This team never missed the playoffs, and nearly completely a perfect season there first year in the Pros. An original AAA team, the Tweety's faced off against the Seamen in the season 1 AAA championship. They then went undefeated throughout the regular season before a drubbing at, you guessed it, the Seamens hands in the Season 2 Super Wok. They twice made the conference championship, and lost in the playoffs to the eventual Garuda champion in seasons 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9. Many times, they would have made the Wok if a few bounces had gone there way. One of the all time great, and classiest franchises in Southeast Asia history.

HB - Napatr San (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=35775&playoffs=0) - The Tweetys HB posted over 1000 yards in 7 seasons and finished his career with 200 rushing TDs
Biggest Rival - Ho Chi Mean Hot Mamas - They didn't really have a rival, but they faced off against the Mamas for over 4 seasons, and in the playoffs twice.
8 - Singapore Flames(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1046) - An original(I believe) A team, the Flames joined what would then become AA1 with the shift. During season 5, they earned a trip to AAA beating the Krungthep Garudas 34-28. Season 6, the Garudas would return the favor beating them 19-16 in the AAA championship. The Flames faced a familar foe week one in there first Pro game, losing to Krugnthep 31-28, in what would be a disappointing first season. They learned from that first season, making the playoffs each season since, and took apart long time league Powerhouse ESL during season 11's Super Wok. The Flames also boast a very impressive out of region schedule during season 11 winning the Coca-cola Tourney.

Greatest Moment - Season 11 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=802425 - After stopping Allstar HB Beav Nizzle twice on the goalline before the half, the fired up Flames took it to the Tire Fires during the rest of the game and captured the Wok in convincing fashion.
Worst Moment - Season 9 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=578597 - The Flames entered the game looking to prove to the league they were to be taken seriously. They left the game humbled and humilated after a 50-9 drubbing at the hands of LSP in the first round.
Key Players - HB - Tank Gore (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=100223&playoffs=0) - The longtime Flame has been one of Garuda's most consistent backs since entering the league. He has posted over 1000 yards each season and has 257 career rushing TDs as well.
KR/PR - Celtic Raider (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=118424&playoffs=0) - The flamboyant return man is one of the regions all time greats at the position.
HB - Ferrari Testarossa (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=59776&playoffs=0) - Coming to the Flames during season 8 Ferrari teamed with Gore to form one of the best 1-2 punches in the league. His worst season in Singapore he still put up 1200 yards and 27 TDs.
CB - Lockdown Champ (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=103577&playoffs=0) - This corner might not get quiet as many picks as some others, but when he does grab one there is a great chance he is taking it the distance, with 14 ints returned for TDs in his career.

7 - Louisiana Screaming Pelicans(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=11&team_id=1063) - An original AA team, the Pelicans(LSP) finally made there way to the Pros after a crushing loss to the Manila Hitmen in the AAA2 championship game during season 5. The Pelicans didn't let that get them down, going 15-1 in there first Pro season, before losing in the second round to the Tweetys. LSP made at least the second round of the playoffs in every Pro season, and reached the Garuda championship in seasons 8, 9, 10. The Pelicans were a true powerhouse franchise, before making the jump to the World League. I feel confident in saying they would have won a Super Wok if they had stayed in SEA.

One of the leagues all time clutch kickers, Thomas Dempsey booted home the winning points to send LSP to there first Super Wok in an emotional thriller.....
Worst Moment - Season 8 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=473078 - .....And only days later, the league held there breath, as the Super Wok came down to one play. Down 17-16 to ESL in the 4th Quarter, Dempsey lined up once more for a game winning kick, this one with 1:02 left to play. However, in one of the biggest emotional swings in league history, the kick sailed wide, giving the Wok to the Tire Fires.

TE - Boo Williams (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=164231&playoffs=0) - When you think of TE's, Boo Williams is one of the first to come to mind. The long time Pelican, he has broke 1000 yards 3 times in his career, and also adds 72 career TDs
LB - Mark Fields (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=162161&playoffs=0) - A great all around linebacker, Fields has shown the ability to both excel in pass coverage, run support and as a blitzer over his years with the Pelicans.
HB - Shooter MaGavin (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=598588&playoffs=0) - While his time with the Pelicans was short, he was an integral part of there season 8 run, rushing for over 4000 yards and 90 TDs, without fumbling the ball during the regular season
Biggest Rival - Taiwan Blood Pandas - The TBP/LSP rivalry was as heated as it gets. A back and forth series, both teams got there blows in during the many classic battles they had.
6 - Singapore Marauders(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=450) - One of the long time great franchises of the region, Singapore was an original AAA team. They lost to the Ho Chi Mean Hot Mamas in the season 2 championship game, but got there ticket to the Pros. Once here, the Marauders established themselves as a contender early, going 13-3 in there first season before a second round loss to eventual champion Bangkok Seamen. The Marauders made the playoffs in each of there seasons during the Pros by sporting a complete offense coupled with one of the leagues best defenses. They finally hit there stride during seasons 9 and 10, reaching the conference championship game in season 9, losing to eventual champ Bandar. They followed this up by winning the league out right in what was possibly the greatest Super Wok during season 10.

Greatest Moment - Season 10 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=695562 - The Super Wok finally arrived in Singapore after 10 seasons of being a top team. But even then, it didn't come easy. Early in the 3rd quarter, with Singapore down 27-6, they staged the greatest comeback in Super Wok history, lead by league MVP Mack Slaughter, to win in overtime, 37-30.
Worst Moment - Season 8 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=470325 - Losing to eventual champ ESL really sparked a Marauder turnaround, as they went on to go 3-1 vs ESL(2-0 in playoffs) after this game and win there first Super Wok. Singapore may have turned this negative into a positive, but at this point they looked like a franchise in a downward spiral
Key Players - QB - Grady Ryan (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=87074&playoffs=0) - When you talk all time great SEA QB's, Grady will end up on everyone's list. He only threw double digit int's 2 seasons, and posted 100 or better QB rating for 6 straight seasons
HB - Meth Head (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=136785&playoffs=0) - Possibly the most underrated player in SEA history, Meth Head's numbers speak for themselves with over 17000 yards and 256 TDs on the ground.
WR - Jon Blaze (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=62316&playoffs=0) - One of the most dangerous wideouts to ever lace up the cleats, Jon Blaze posted double digit TDs in 5 straight seasons, and twice broke 100 catches and 1900 yards receiving.
HB - Mack Slaughter (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=81242&playoffs=0) - His time in Singapore was short, but his impact was not, winning back to back MVP awards and nearly single handed won the Marauders the Super Wok
Biggest Rival - East St Louis Tire Fires - Only one other team, the Bangkok Seamen, had the success Singapore did vs East St Louis, playing them in the playoffs during seasons 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 - knocking them out in both seasons 9 and 10.
5 - Neo Armstrong Cannon Jet Armstrong Cyclone(NACJAC)(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1853) - If I messed up the name, I appologize, it's been a long time. But NACJAC had a great, albeit short run in SEA. They were one of the first teams to "not care" about the regular season, sometimes not even appearing to care. But they were deadly as anyone in the playoffs when it counted. They first appeared on SEA's radar in AAA, defeating the highly favored Bandar Pirates during season 3. In there first Pro season, they knocked off the defending champs and longtime SEA powerhouse Bangkok Seamen in the Super Wok. They made a second straight Super Wok in season 5, losing a hard fought game to ESL. They made the playoffs again season 6, losing to the Garuda Champion Taiwan Blood Pandas.

Greatest Moment - Season 4 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=139257 - Beating the Bangkok Seamen at the height of there power, when much of the league thought they didn't have a shot. People's Elbow took Ricky Watters place as SEA's most recognizable player.
Worst Moment - Season 6 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=285848 - A loss to the eventual Garuda Champion Taiwan Blood Pandas killed all hopes of a 7th season for NACJAC as they faded away after the loss.
Key Players - DE - People's Elbow (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=116138&playoffs=0) - The most dominant force this league has ever seen, People's Elbow was able to win games by himself, simply destroying offenses in the process
WR - Seventh Wheel (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=292293&playoffs=0) - A dominant player run by team owner dhc1978, Seventh Wheel posted amazing numbers in his 3 seasons here - 238 receptions, 4260 yards and 46 TDs
DE - Rock Bottom (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=111463&playoffs=0) - People's Elbow had a partner in crime, and his name was Rock Bottom. These two formed the greatest DE tandem in the league for 3 straight seasons and gave OC's fits. You might stop one, but you couldn't stop both.
DT - Gold Dust (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=116418&playoffs=0) - Rounding out the leagues best Dline, possibly ever, was DT Gold Dust. At his best during season 5, he had 90 tackles, 33 sacks and a forced fumble.
Biggest Rival - Bangkok Tweetys - This team didn't really have a rival but the Tweetys are as close as it gets, facing them twice in the playoffs.
4 - Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=991) - One of the most popular franchises in league history, the Pirates combined great personalities with a very strong team. Entering the league season 4, they made the playoffs every single season in the Pros. At times, this team was nearly unbeatable, losing only 13 times from seasons 4 to 10 to teams outside of East St Louis(less than 2 a season) An original AA team, they won the title season 2 to move up to AAA, where they quickly ran through the conference before losing in the AAA championship to NACJAC. Bandar then made it at least to the Naga Championship game every Pro season except 4 and 6, winning 1 of there 2 Super Wok apperances along the way.

Worst Moment - Season 10 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=590085 - In there last game vs arch rival ESL, the Tire Fires stomped them 52-17 in the biggest loss in the series.
Key Players - HB - Gavin Dunn (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=71209&playoffs=0) - Gavin Dunn was a great all around back, and one of the first true receiving threats out of the backfield in SEA. He was also a threat to score on STs.
WR - Sumerian Prophet (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=96747&playoffs=0) - The former Krakatoan Red Warrior joined a hungry Bandar team season 7 and helped them reach there first Super Wok.
QB - Geoff Dakota (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=176286&playoffs=0) - The long time Pirate split snaps for many seasons before finally taking over as the lone QB season 7, which proved to be the right choice. Few QB's had the career in SEA that Dakota did and he will go down as one of the regions all time greats
LB/ST - Sloth Fratelli (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=115243&playoffs=0) - The do it all Sloth Fratelli has been a turnover machine his entire career with 80 combined turnovers in 11 seasons, including playoffs.
Biggest Rival - East St Louis Tire Fires - These two teams owned the Naga Conference from seasons 5 through 9, with one or the other making the Super Wok each of those seasons, and winning 4 of the 5.
3 - Ho Chi Mean Hot Mamas(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=459) - A team originally from AAA, they moved up after beating the Marauders in Season 2. During there first Pro season, they went 19-1, losing to the 20-0 Bangkok Seamen in the Super Wok. That was the only time in the regions history two 19-0 teams faced off for the title. This team was a power house while here, not losing a regular season game until season 5, and only dropping 9 regular season games in 5 Pro seasons.

Worst Moment - Season 3 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=78245 - Making the Wok in there first season, they lost a heartbreaker to defending champ Bangkok Seamen on 2 late field goals in a battle of undefeated teams.
Key Players - HB - Wendell Brown (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=238658&playoffs=0) - A Hot Mama for only 3 seasons, he made a huge impact, including 150 yards and 3 TDs in Super Wok 7
QB - Slinger McGee (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=30436&playoffs=0) - The long time QB of the Hos, Slinger posted over 100 QB rating from seasons 4 through 7, and played in both Super Wok apperances for the Hos.
G - Buster Upsahl (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=30666&playoffs=0) - A force on the line for the Hos, Buster amased over 1100 career pancakes, and broke 100 his first 3 Pro seasons.
CB - Shadow Knight (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=32711&playoffs=0) - A ballhawking CB, he reached double digit ints during season 4, and also had interceptions in both Super Woks
Biggest Rival - Krakatoan Red Warriors - These two teams clashed not only in the Pro's, but also in AAA ball. They had many great battles in what was one of the better rivalries in the history of the region.
2 - East St. Louis Tire Fires(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=997) - These guys have been good for a very long time and are the only long time powerhouse left. The Tire Fires spent there first two seasons in AA, losing heartbreaking Conference Championship games to the Jersey Dragons and BLPP. During season 3, AA became AAA2, and the Tar Fars were on a mission, going a perfect 20-0 and earning a trip to the Pros. After an up and down first Pro season, they found playoff success before falling for the third time that season to the Bangkok Season in the Conference Championship game. This however, fueled the Fire, and ESL went on to win all but 7 games from seasons 5 through 8, including 3 Super Wok victories. They are the only team in the leagues history to have played in 4 Super Woks and made a name for themselves by winning games late, in dramatic fashion.

Greatest Moment - Season 5 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=209716 - The Tire Fires beat the defending Champs, NACJAC in a game that put them on the map, shutting out League Superstar People's Elbow.
Worst Moment - Season 7 - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=370112 - the Kamakura Katanas beat the Tire Fires at there own game with a last second victory. This marked the first time ever ESL failed to reach the conference championship and killed hopes of a "3 Peat"
Key Players - HB - Beav Nizzle(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=105121&playoffs=0) - Southeast Asia's biggest and longest Superstar, Beav Nizzle was the heart of the ESL offense for his first 10 seasons.
KR/PR - Iam Ridiculous(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=108633&playoffs=0) - Few return man have as big an impact as Iam did during his time in SEA. He won the field position battle for ESL in nearly every game they ever played.
FS - Frank Stallone(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=91796&playoffs=0) - The backbone of the ESL D for many, many seasons, FS played at an All Pro level for a very long time
K - Moses Prophetson(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=141973&playoffs=0) - The first member of the ESL Hall Of Fame, Moses was near perfect through his career and won many a game for the Tire Fires
Biggest Rival - Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates - This was the greatest rivalry in SEA history, and possibly all of GLB at it's peak. Some of the leagues greatest games were between these two powerhouses.
1 - Bangkok Seamen(http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=448) - The original SEA powerhouse, these guys put us on the map. The first team to gain respect outside of SEA, they nearly won one the first major GLB tourneys during season 4 beating ESL, the Manila Hitmen and a few USA Pro teams on the way. They are the only team to ever go to three straight Super Woks, winning it in seasons 2 and 3. The Seamen were run by one of the original great owners of this region, Ben Dover, and dominated for many seasons. There run started to slow down during season 4 when they lost the Super Wok to a great NACJAC team, although they made the playoffs for 6 straight seasons before shutting things down season 7.

CB - Kelly Bojangles Bojangles(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=71076&playoffs=0) - This guy was the first true shutdown corner in the region and a menace in the defensive backfield
DE - Darryl Tapp(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=35169&playoffs=0) - Teaming with fellow DE Patrick Kerney these guys terrorized QBs in SEA like few teams have.
QB - Jim Zorn(http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=26661&playoffs=0) - While Watters was the Superstar, Zorn quietly put together a great career in SEA turning the good Seamen offense into a juggernaught
Biggest Rival - Phuket All, although it was hard to call it a rivalry as Bangkok dominated the series. It was a game that I remember being a big one when I first moved up to the Pro's.
