Yeah I guess, they're all pretty interchangeable, depend on what kind of payer you're trying to build.

I disagree, I think Strength/Agility are the most important.

You can change up a few things if you want to make a Run Stopper VS a Pass Rusher, but if you have too little strength or agility in sacrifice for speed or some other skill, you will never get past high level OT's no matter what type of build you are going for.

My most frustrating player is a DE, as he could get past OT's easily if the AI would let him run around him instead of bull rushing at them.

I'm probably going for even more Break Block with boost SP's, but he's fast and agile enough to run around a lot of the OT's. I don't know why he's so stupid to try to go through them.

These are pass rushing DE's.

Anyone have any advice with containment DEs?

Vision will allow you to go around a blocker more effectively.

I feel you need speed on the end more than strength (Until the 3-4 goes into effect).

1. Speed
2. Agility
3. Vision
4. Strength
5. Tackling
6. Stamina
7. Jumping

You can catch most HB/FB behind scrimmage on check down passes this way and even pick-off passes when you drop back into coverage.

Yea, you don't need strength if you want to be on the ground all the time

This is pretty much the tatic I used to build my DE, except the top 3 were interchangable depending on how I felt that day.

I was reading somewhere in the forums that a few points in block will help you to break blocks. Has anybody tried this with success?

Make sure you bring some syrup when you face good OT's with that build...

It's more like (I think)[attribute numbers are for reference]:

STG=AGI (50-60)
>SPD (45-50)
>VIS=STA (30-40)
>TCK=CON (25-35)

That's the build I'm shooting for. I have seen guys swap the SPD with the STG, though.
