OK guys, looks like its shake-up time in the West with the Top of the Division starting to mix it up and see how it all shakes out...

1. Chicago Beasts - 11-0 - time to seperate the men from the boys.....Chicago faces the top teams in the West finally and will put its undefeated record to the test....will it bend but not break, or will the crumble like the Berlin Wall....they play the Bar Stars and Gaines at home and travel to Canton all in a span of the next 4 weeks.......

2. Carolina bar Stars - 10-1 - an early loss to L A Majors kept these guys humble most of the season , but a victory over Canton brought thier spirits back and they get to tangle with Chicago and Gaines back to back over the next 2 weeks so they are going to show the rest of the league what they are made of now....Ralph Taylor is just itching to blow it up....

3. Gaines Panters - 10-1 - A confident squad whos only speed bump thus far has been a defeat at the hands of Canton and are chomping at the bit to square up with Chicago and the Bar Stars in the next few weeks to shake up the standings at the top of the Western Conference....then on to cruise control into the playoffs and the second season.

4. Canton NFL "Busts" - 9-2 - Canton is still sore from its Loss out of the Gate to the East's BeachDogZ and a midseason heartbreaker to Carolina Bar Stars and is taking it out on the rest of the teams in the West.....eyeing its week 15 matchup with Chicago to either make or break thier position for seeding in the playoffs. A much improved squad from last season who has really made some noise this season.

5. Los Angeles Majors - 8-3- An Impressive Victory early on against the Bar Stars really helped the Majors, but losses vs Chicago, Gaines, and Canton have put the Majors in the back seat, as it were, and will watch the rest of the top teams duke it out and hope they beat up on each other real bad and will sit back and try and back into a home playoff berth as they coast the rest of the season. The Majors are a pretty talented Veteran squad that no-one wants to face in the playoffs......but will have to no doubt.

6. Average Joes - 7-4 - close losses to Gaines and Chicago coupled with trouncings to the Majors and Canton have the Joes jockying for one of the final 3 spots for the post season. With Onterio coming up and a finale against the Bar Stars, it might come down the the wire to see if the Average Joes will be on the field, or sitting in the stands come playoff time....

7. Scranton Wilkes-Barre Menzingers - 7-4 - record looks god, but games against Majors, Legends and Canton could push them out of the playoff picture if they are not careful....Playoffs are definitely not out of the question, but they still need to win to get in.

8. Onterio ice Weasels - 6-5 - Onterio has a couple of easy wins next and then its final 3 contests will pit them vs Avg Joes, the Majors, and the DC Legends who are looking to take the final playoff spot from them. Bottom line: Win and they are in.....Lose and hope for the best....

9. Lynchburg Lingerie Models - 5-6 - Basically are going to be in a 3 way race for the 8th seed and post season glory. The Models have 2 tough games vs Chicago and Canton and also face Sydney and a cupcake game vs Bohemia. The crucial game for them will be week 15 vs Scranton and a win there will be necessary to have a chance at the final playoff spot.

10. D C Legends - 5-6 - will hope for a decent showing vs Canton and then try to go off the sheet to clean up the reg season with a 9-7 record and hopeful playoff berth. We are pretty sure 8-8 is not going to be enough this year to get into the Dance. The Legends are probably the team with the future lying soley on thier own shoulders. An upset vs Canton tommorow would be huge for them and could really solidify a berth.

11. Frostburg Bobcats - 4-7 - Win out. Thats what they have to do in order to have a chance. Period. Facing the Joe's, Legends, Major's, Tornadoes, and hammerheads, they have to beat em all and hope theres a spot left when the season is over for em.

12. Sydney Hammerhead - 3-8 - Are only spoilers at this point. A good team who has done well putting points on the board, just needs to improve its defense and not allow opponents to score more than they are. Definitly a solid core that will contend in the future.

The rest are Pretenders.....not Contenders.....

Alright. I'll do the East standings

#1 12-0 Florida BeachDogZ with #2 12-0 Pensecola Dolphins close, and I can't say behind. neither team has lost. Last game of the season will determine who gets to play my Bucs in the first game (I hope). Both have at least one team in the last 4 than can give them problems, but at this point, the last game of the season appears to be the one that will matter. both are great teams, and class acts. who we wont see next season woo hoo!

#3 Lynchburg will probably win out. my Bucs and the Roos are the only real challenges, though meager, otherwise is locked up.

#4 Wolves - they face the Beer Barons, Hudson Bay, and Red River. NCAA too, but they should have the depth and skill to take all 4. might move to 3rd if Lynchburg slips.

#5 through 9
This area is still under construction. Some tough games ahead for all in these spots.

#5 The Chiefs have tough games ahead. The Scallywags could play spoilers, the Beer Barons and Wolves might be too much to handle. Hudson Bay wil be no pushover. Probably 2 wins, maybe 3.

#6 The Beer Barons have the the Wolves, Chiefs, NCAA and my Bucs. 2 probable wins, maybe 3. as with the Chiefs, beating the Wolves will give notice to everyone that this conference isnt all about the east coast.

#7 The Kangaroos have the Beach DogZ, Venice, Lynchburg, and Carolina. Tough row to hoe, here. Beach DogZ are amazing, Venice is better than their record shows, Lynchburg is tough. Carolina could easily play spoiler here too. Very tough last 4 games. 2-2 split, would be a damn good performance, but the Roos can possibly pull off 3 here.

#8 (clings) Baton Rouge Buccaneers. they got Lynchburg, Carolina, St Louis, and New Jersey. all could beat them on any given Sunday. 2-2 split should be enough to beat out Hudson Bay.

#9 Hudson Bay Devils: they have Woonsocket, Pensecola, the Wolves and Chiefs. 3 of those will be darn tough games. they need to win 2 of the last 4 and have the Bucs lose 3 of the last 4 to have a legitimate shot at the playoffs. somethin like that.

the other teams in the East dont really have shots, though I could be proved wrong.

Looks like the Bar Stars have gone a long way towards wrapping up that 1 seed in the West. The only tough one they have left is the Average Joe's. Even if they lost there, the only team that could get the one seed would be Chicago if they won out.
