Just uploaded the latest version of the Defense AI Builder interface for everyone (team owners and DC's) to play with.

Building and testing the ridiculous number of plays required for all the possible settings is turning out to be the major time sink on this - there are a lot of combinations that can come up! I keep adding options as I go, too, making more plays I have to put in.

You should be able to play with the interface for now, and I'll make an announcement when it's actually ready to go for sims. It's be the sort of thing you can turn on and off to make the play calling algorithm call a different code path dependent on your settings (new vs old).

Please note that this is step 1 of the advanced tactics update. Additional adds, later, will include setting defensive matchups, and per-package subs/depth charts.

BTW, the offense AI builder will be similar: based on inputs/outputs so you build up your custom "AI."

wow, it looks confusing

So they don't affect anything at all right now right? It says directly effect but are there any small changes it can have? Also does the 3-4 setting work yet? I'm just worried about playing with it and having anything go crazy.

No, no effect right now - some of the play entries aren't complete yet.
