I don't bench them, but I almost never put them first in the depth chart if I can't see the builds. People mistakenly think they have created something I haven't seen before and want to keep it super secret.

We're on Page 3. One person has said they've been benched for having their builds closed, and one owner has said they won't start dots with closed builds but will let them play. Everyone else seems to think that keeping your dots closed is kinda silly but otherwise no big deal.
I had been led to believe that there was a huge problem with dots being rotted and benched over the builds being closed. Starting to look like that's not the case. I realize this isn't the best sample since it's self-reporting, but man, you'd think if this was a widespread problem we'd have more than just one agent and one owner agreeing by now.
Anyone else? Anyone else ever been benched-and-rotted for having their build closed?

generally the people i work with that have their builds closed are pretty solid dotbuilders...so as long as i get the general idea of their build and their VA's...its pretty good with me. i have nor have i been on a team that has rotted someone's dot for keeping their build close...but...
