I'm sure if it happened it was an accident.

Per procedures we are never allowed to DELETE a thread.

Provide some information here the best you can to replicate the issue you stated in the first post?

I copied the DAI into My AI and initially it had all packages unlinked, I linked them all with my packages in the My Packages feature which I think is your only option anyway then updated. After update a few of them have the Red (!) even though I know the packages are right, I checked packages and I even made a new package called Pro Set 2 and added it and it turned Red as well. You have access so check it out if you want. Thanks, Pwned

Delete the output and recreate it and the exclamations might go away. I did and it solved the problem.

I can't replicate this issue, but all my AIs are built within the new system, so I wouldnt expect to have any issues.

I know during testing that when something like this came up it was always because a part of the outputs were team or GM owned, IE not in the 'My' location.
I got caught out by having two packages with the exact same name, one in My location, but the one in the AI was GM owned.

Thats not to say there isnt a bug in there, and I'm sure thats the first thing regnac and Dr. E checked, but if there is I would expect everyone to have that same issue.

If anyone else has this issue (And they haven't sorted it already) can you shoot me access, obviously if there is a bug with this, its the highest priority.

I had a mess of them on packages and couldn't find anything wrong so I deleted the package/output, put the package right back in and after hitting update the big red exclamation mark was gone.

I had one other cause. In the area that you choose how many receivers are in the formation I had selected 0-4 in the SG formations. When I changed that to 0-3 and hit update they all went away.

Found this in GLB main, if thats true I'll send that up as a bug/to test server thread.

Nope, not seeing that either with a newly created AI.

No Red (!) errors based a no. of WRs in input.

When you are under the My AI portion it only gives you one choice of packages anyway so if it is linked there should be okay.

I have one other saved AI under my team that still has Red (!) on it if you want access to see that let me know

Just to update, I have got access to regnac's AI, and nothing looks to be obviously wrong, the Red Inputs contain plays that are available to the team, via packages that are likewise available to the team.

They also seem to have been followed correctly in previous games, which shouldnt be possible if the AI was indeed broken.

Need to do a little more digging to see why this is happening, and how it might be resolved, but as that might involve saving/copying inputs or plays (NOT editing) I'll wait for permission first, PM sent.

Either way right now it does look like it might be a bug of some sort.

OK I have confirmed the following....

ALL of regnac's playcalling AI is valid, I have checked the plays, packages inputs and outputs, all fine.

I have confirmed that updating the packages in the OUTPUTS only and re-saving will not remove the (!) Flags.

HOWEVER, if you clear the packages, you will find that the PLAY for that OUTPUT now reads as the red INVALID flag, and the (!) flag cannot be removed until that INVALID play is cleared.

Once the INVALID FLAG is cleared, all packages can be used correctly.

This is definately a bug as the (!) Flag is not working as intended.as follows...

- All plays, Packages are available for use correctly.
- The AI was followed exactly for the previous games it was used (So the inputs were not broken then.)
- The same Packages are used multiple times, sometimes they are (!) flagged, other times they are NOT flagged.

All the above show the (!) flag is not working as intended.

I will bring this to the Test server as its a New Feature, and will see if there is a possible fix, to save DCs the annoyance of munually fixing.

I'm not sure why some users are getting this effect, and others are not, I could specualte its a holdover from how Classic plays were removed from their AI, maybe, as all the teams I know that dont have this issue started a fresh AI when New DPC was available, and they manually removed their Classic Plays???

But I'll leave that to Bort to work out.
I have verified that

My DAI has the same issue...
Who appeals to the law of his fellow man is either a fool or a coward Whoever cannot take care of himself without the law is both A wounded man shall say to his assailant If I live I will kill you If I die you are forgiven Such is the rule of honor

Here is the issue as I see it.

Packages, when they are presented to users are presented as 'names'. Meaning you see what you named the package. The AI assigns a unique number to each package. This number is hidden from users. So what?

Well -- this means that just because your teams AI has a package called "Less than 3 yrds" and there is a package with the same name... those two packages don't share the same unique-id, so the red (!) is placed there. This is indicating that while your output is calling a package, the AI cannot find the package. (remember the AI searches for packages by UID, not name. Us humans see the name.)

I feel this is working as intended, and the (!) is doing exactly what is it meant to do. Point out an easy fix to your AI.

Ok, so the issue is that the output saves both a play id and package id, so that the selected play is still there if you remove the package selection. It's flagging the output as invalid if you have an invalid play id, no matter if you have a package or not.

So I'll just need to make it ignore the play for flagging purposes if you have a package set. The AI would still work, etc. The flag would just never clear unless you removed the bad plays. Definitley confusing.

Should be able to get that uploaded in a few.
