I just posted a duplicate thread and was informed by Androth that it was locked, but to post in this thread. I tried to delete my full Alerts box of 300....got the URI too large error.

Not sure what needs to be done, but this needs a fix....whether it selects a smaller amount at one time, or it is recoded to be able to handle 300.

The fix for this issue (and depth chart issues) may actually be easier to implement on the web server itself than doing something with the code.

Basically what is happening is the web server has a limitation to how much data can be submitted to it. If bort has access to the settings of the web server he might be able to expand the amount of data it can handle, thereby eliminating most of the 414 issues people run into on the site. Obviously if someone stuck 55 players in every depth position in the DC you might not be able to prevent that running into a problem but for most current issues it might be fixable through this method. I don't mean to post suggestions in a bug thread but it might be worth looking into.

It appears different web servers use different default values, which can be changed to allow larger strings of data to be sent to the web server. It might be the value in place might be too small for what bort does with transmitting data from us (the users) to the website.

I don't know if this causes any vulnerabilities, so might need someone more up on web server security to check into it but it might be a viable solution .
