Not sure what you think the bug is here. Well i think i know but i don't agree. All the PBP is telling you is that- on the catch there was a deflection [by whoever] and he was tackled by the same guy.
I don't have any pbp text that shows this same thing but:
Aaron 'DaWeapon' Pryor pass to Slick~Icky Wood$, hurried by Jean-Mathieu Serurier, up the right side, jumping catch attempt [deflected by Sherman Keunen] (incomplete)
It's just where it places the deflected message. Instead of the jumping catch attempt of this play, you had an actual catch.
Kasimir the Lone Wolf pass to Greg "The Transfer" Olsen, hurried by P9 0X, up the right side, caught [deflected by Silas Whiting] (4 yd gain) [tackle: Silas Whiting]
See how the comma after the position on the field, is the same for each play. Just happened that despite the deflection, the pass was still caught in your play.
