I really enjoy the Global Rankings addition based on Niboris' formula but do see one small way it could be improved.
Right now teams that schedule a lot of scrims in the minor leagues can potentially end up with a higher global ranking than WL teams who are on a bad run. It may very well be possible that a Semi Pro team is better than many of the Regional Pro teams but I am pretty certain that no one thinks they are on the same level with even the worst WL teams. This becomes even more true as you go down in leagues. For instance my team which is in National Minors is currently ranked about 20 spots higher than the SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL.
I suggest separating the ranking by age groups and then adding tiers for each age group. World League and all the Pro leagues would make up the top tier and teams from other age groups would not be able to jump above these teams without winning scrimmages against them. This would allow the really deserving Semi Pro teams to jump up in the Global Rankings if they can win against teams in WL & Pro who are above them in the rankings but won't reward them with top spots unless they prove they can beat teams at that level.
The same could be done all the way through the age groups. This way we don't have the top teams in the minor leagues cluttering up the top 250.
