Background: Right now most fumbles look ok, they bounce around as players try to grab the ball until someone can recover it. However there are some times (examples to come) where the ball will shoot out of a pile of players and sit in a spot where players will not attempt to go after the ball.

Instead what will happens is all the players will run into a pile where the ball was fumbled until the initial fumbler gets back up and makes another attempt at the ball, at which point it will come back into play. The initial fumbler doesn't always manage the agility roll to recover but they will be the only player that can make the initial attempt.

I only have 4 at the moment but until regular season starts, it's too slow trying to find fumbles by randomly scouring teams for fumbles. I'll add more as i see them.

One replay where someone other than the fumbler (HB in this case, FB fumbled) recovered the ball but the HB had been pancaked before the fumble but still is the only player able to recover the ball

These types of fumbles have been determined not a bug, and is a vision check failure by the players.

Suggestion: So i would suggest that, if this is a vision failure, that perhaps an adjustment needs to be made either to the vision check required to not dive into a 22 man pile on the field.
Or if it is something else that perhaps the logic that governs fumbles in these situations be changed to allow someone other than the initial fumbler, or one specific player, have a chance to go after the ball.

If other suggestions, or more specific fixes, are posted below this i'll add it in. *edit*Added in leagues where replays were seen.

I do think the vision requirement to see the ball is probably a bit too high if all of the players on the field are failing the vision check somewhat regularly. It doesn't always happen, but it has happened on numerous occaisions.

+1 to retesting this and possibly finding a fix.

Looking at the last (HB recover) play, I don't understand how someone can have enough vision to run over to the ball on the ground, but not enough to know they need to jump on the ball. That's just stupid.

these are not failed vision checks... the offense is recovering all of these fumbles in these examples... and in many of them the D players are right there.

+1 to the OP. I'd say the Vision checks just have to be somewhat easier, if that's what causes this.
