I noticed that happens a lot when a HB is first in the check down order. I used to use that first spot with the HB as a time eater waiting on the other receivers to get where I wanted them, had to remove them all because the QBs were locking on to the backs and throwing it short. Even happened on third and long.

QB targeting is definitely fucked this season.
