jesus this still looks terrible. are we really going to have to play every dot right up on the line if we want them to cover backs and te's? so we can basically then get murdered by counters.

- Make sure ball carrier cannot be "pushed" out of bounds by trying to avoid his own team mates near the sideline
- Disable coverage speed matching when too far away from receiver (fixes sluggish coverage of HB/FB coming out of the backfield)
- Fix some occasional extra-large run block "bouncyness" caused by double team blocks

what happened to this? I thought that speed matching thing was supposed to be disabled?

there is nothing in the changelog explaining this issue specifically. it happened between D49 and D-8 rollover along with all the other S27 changes.

a little different than my replays but further points to my gut feeling that bort uploaded old coverage code. there are bugs everywhere that had been fixed previously
