It would seem that it would help with the Head Fake and Juke SA's but does it also help with Spin?
Even when I was a kid, my imaginary friend would play with the kid across the street. I'd be like, "Hey, so I guess I'll see you later," and he's, like, "Whatever, queer!" That's a hate crime. ಠ_ಠ

No. Spin is a tackle breaking ability, so break tackle % helps it.

No he means break tackle. Make tackle would be for a defensive player trying to make a tackle. Break tackle helps a ball carrier break free of a tackle (thus helping spin because it's a break tackle skill)

right .. so my question was from a defensive perspective. Would avoid fake% reduce the defender's susceptibility to the Spin, or does it even matter.

Oh, sorry. Make tackle % would help defend against Spin, while avoid fake would have no bearing.
