Is Look Off even considered a type of fake? How about Turn the Shoulder? Is that in the category of a "fake"?

Only thing I can say with certainty is Turn the Shoulder is not a fake , it is a break tackle.

I've never seen a blitzing LB get faked out by pump fake, If I didn't know better I'd say that pump fake and look off currently only work against dots in coverage. I will be asking this in the next Q and A to get a final answer from bort and catch.

i've never seen absolute evidence of this either (in fact I can't recall seeing Look Off ever fire--I'm guessing it doesn't show a message when it does), but i have seen pass rushers seemingly break off from pursuit before the ball is thrown (though not as often as they continue pursuit WAY LONG after its gone!)... so I'm thinking better vision would be much more useful than any "avoid fake" kind of stuff

I've never seen a blitzer fooled by a pump fake, but I think that it is probably possible. Look Off only effects players in zone coverage so a blitzer shouldn't be effected by it.

Look Off is not enhanced by +fake% (as stated in several entries in the wiki site) so highly doubtful +avoid fake% would combat it. So in summary, I'd say that +avoid fake% is not helpful to a pass rusher at all.

I see Look Off fire occasionally. The problem is that not too many defenses run zone coverage. Turn the Shoulder is a break tackle ability and not a fake as stated earlier.

If a qb tried to pump fake against a good blitzer he will probably fumble
