Thanks. I was actually telling Borders before the playoffs that Ithica was the only team I did not want to face in the playoffs if I could help it. I still think you would have beaten me had we gone head-to-head. It is a bit strange but I knew from the few games we played how you would arrange your offense in the playoffs and I knew that my defense is not built to handle that. I was ecstatic to find out that a team I was better geared towards defending against had beaten you

Oh and thanks for the instant scrimmages. They were the only reason I was able to even get the gold.

Also a GG to BSS. Dark worked the ground and pound perfectly and converted like 7 4th downs. I have tried the G&P on BSS before and failed too often. So good scouting on play calls.

You know, it is funny but I actually didn't setup my offense to be a ground and pound. I set it up to be passing roughly 40% of the time on first down and about 50% of the time on a 2nd and 5+ range. We just had a lot of lucky passes (46% completion is amazing against them!!!) that picked up significant chunks of yardage allowing us to continually move the chains.

I didn't even realize we had 7 4th down conversion attempts. And BSS did stuff me on a number of occasions on non-obvious running situations so that game could have easily gone downhill in the wrong direction fast. Fortunately our defense showed up big time for this game. 9 times we got a 3 and out on them out of 11 possessions. That defense is what won the game. Not the ground and pound or anything. We only had 3 drives because of it and many more stalled drives then I would have liked.

No worries there. I'm pretty sure everyone was a doubter. You just had enough stones to speak it. And well, seriously you've got obviously BSS but also LWTA and RWIW in that division of yours, all of whom have won many trophies, tournaments, crushing victories, and have been very consistent about it. Then you have my team who barely won most of the victories in the season and got utterly blown away in the losses suffered. If it were not for the fact that I know the truth about all those games I would have probably doubted my team as well.

So no crows for you ... but if you like the taste of crows then sure have some. I would however like to get a hold of your scouting data to see if we came up with the same things or different as a fun little off topic thing though

It doesnt sting so bad tho losing to another BSS affiliated team

Would it make you feel better if I told you that both times were pure luck? I mean I would certainly never pay off your staff anything under the table to make them throw the game or anything. What did they tell you I did? I deny it all and I plead the fifth. You have no proof of anything
