It certainly does seem that the QB leads the receivers out of the end zone. It would also make more sense to me that on a crossing route that the receiver was lead in such a fashion that little to no change to his angle across the field is necessary.

I'll 2nd this as Likely a Bug

It should always be a tip-toe jumping catch attempt on the perimeter of the endzone...Santonio Holmes style.

Actually, it is. The WR moves to where the ball is heading which happens to be out of bounds. The defender just made a good jump on the ball.

Yep, definitely the same sort of replay - the targeted WR has just hit the back of the endzone and started on the 'automatic' crossing route when he has to turn around and run out of bounds to where the QB is leading him.

The issue with the ball going out of bounds isn't limited to the end zone. Way too many IMHO being thrown out of bounds on non end zone plays.
