The bug fix does not stop it from happening all the time, it stops it from happening the majority of the time as was the case last season. It will still happen on occasion, just should not be as frequent. First play you listed was an instance of this. Second play was more of a bad play call by the OC from that spot on the field. Players are still going to run their defined routes. In the second play, the WR2's route leads him to run out of the endzone.
