easy fix, run the ball INSIDE 80 times a game at 3.5 yards per play FTW, bort will nerf running, and passing gets its season back in S29, or just intime for the S28 playoffs for all of us to readjust on the fly.

You are correct, but why bother when you could just start all the Dots mature. Then you do away with waiting a year to play the game as it's intended. Plus, competition levels will sort out and stay that way, no more scramble every season. It would also do way with Farms, you know, the teams full of good dots and agents that don't give a crap because they aren't competing at the top.

i would love for players to start as "rookies" with their physical attributes in place, but lacking VAs which they'll earn over time. but your last point is why it will never happen. i think the farm system is what keeps this game afloat financially. just think of all those players sitting there doing nothing but providing income to bort.

yeah, providing income, but insanely mind numbingly boring. 13 months for a dot to become relevant even with accelerated development is still a really really long time

yep, and for a sim that makes drastic changes at least 3 or 4 times during this span, its not worth it. i thought i could limit the impact of changes by sticking to ST, but STOPs have taken a major hit recently. i honestly dont know why people are still making players.

The game would be better if people could play "for real" from the beginning, but I don't think it's practical to think Bort will make that radical of a change.

Has this seemed to work itself out, or is it still about the same?

about the same. people are running the ball more in minors tbh so there is slightly less rage at the moment.

I am one of those who is running more but I still would like it fixed.
