Thanks! Also, what is the point of salary? Is it basically just there as a bargaining chip for guaranteeing playing-time?

Salary gives the player morale. The higher the salary, the happier the player. The happier the player, the better (in theory) he'll play.
Also, there are occasionally forum contests that give out reward points.

We still have give-aways, we just had the trivia contest this past off-season (about a week ago) and we had a Facebook contest not too long ago. Just keep reading announcements as they go out and you will see if we have any upcoming contests etc.

We still have give-aways, we just had the trivia contest this past off-season (about a week ago) and we had a Facebook contest not too long ago. Just keep reading announcements as they go out and you will see if we have any upcoming contests etc.
