in the code, there is a thing so that when a receiver gets really wide open, the QB cannot throw the ball for a few seconds so that the defense can play catch up since they can't figure out how to make it realistic.

If that was a streak pattern thrown from the 50 yard line that would have led the TE beautifully. Too bad the QBs lead the receivers out the back of the end zone and then not lead a completely open receiver in the middle of the field.
