He is doing a Under Weak Fourth more so, looks to me like. With the HB out in the Flats, why is he not Playing more "3rd" of the Field?

This one is understandable.

The HB is never a direct threat to the Under Weak third zone, so he is basically out of the equation while there are threats in that zone to be covered.

The WR was the first threat in his zone, and he picks him up, then switches over to the uncovered FB correctly as he becomes a threat, and then hands him off to the FS as he leaves the zone.

The few ticks he has no immedite threat, he shades towards the biggest threat, based on depth and immediacy to his assigned zone.

So understandable.

As for the other plays, small issue with defenders in man coverage not closing the distance on routes that end behind the LoS, does look poor.

This is most likely a result of the code which is in place to stop defenders charging towards the LoS to pick up backs and letting those backs blow right past them.

I checked a few more instances, and when the pass does go to the back behind the LoS, those defenders seem well able to close the gap and get a PD or tackle in (similar to screens), so its not having an impact on the sim right now, and is therefore not likely a candidate for a fix. (Lot of work, little effect and possibly having negative impact elsewhere)

If there are more replays proving an issue with defenders closing that gap when the back is passed to behind the LoS, thats a different matter entirely, and would be reason for a bug fix.
