If I use the Tagged defense preset will that run different preset defenses based on my tags?

No. It's just a pre-built AI that uses tags. It'll do things like use plays designed for stopping inside rushing when there's a power HB and blocking FB.

It is off of your tags but you had better change it to your likings because the preset is not that great.
