not sure I understand what you mean here - surely if they feel there is an obv imbalance they can adjust ?

when there was a poll the userbase was pretty against mid season changes.

even small tweaks in the late offseason can create rage tbh.

I mean obviously any change made to the game at this point for a lot of teams would just be bogus. They have set their VA's and worked around all the best ways to help their team win. For Bort to pull the rug at this stage of the season would be pretty frustrating for some...especially if the sim took an even worse direction.

There is the idea of playing to your client base by not changing things mid season as they wish. Then there is truly trying to patch a MAJOR snafu midseason about something people are even MORE upset by. I've been playing since S1 and the game has never been so bad, ie ineffective passing regardless of player build. I truly regret spending what I did this season. I have a level 38 QB with an effective level of 41 yet his passing completion pct is under 43! This is not so much a personal rant as opposed to making a case that immediate changes are necessary. That to do nothing midseason is more damaging to Bort's product than would be done by waiting for the end of the season.

Would it really be so bad to roll back to last season's coding in comparison to this season's? More to the point this is a product, regardless of "Beta" or not, and the product is malfunctioning badly. In this short attention span world we live in now, its more dangerous to stay idle than to "try" to fix it or patch it immediately. The "patch" is last season's coding.... the fix is a better update based on last season's coding.

As boring as it is, I would actually much rather they concentrate on next seasons sim than worry about reverting back to that shit that was last season.

And actually it is more dangerous to patch a bunch of shit with some shit. Especially midseason.

lol. If it were a problem I dont think he would have kept coding the last 4 years tbh.

I mean you're acting like this is a new thing...its not new at all. And imo (and others) his attitude of not playing his game is pretty understandable.

Plus IF he did want to play the game i'm sure he would play as a multi.
