QB spikes the ball with 2 seconds left which should have stopped the clock at 2 seconds. Correct? Why was no other play called from the sim?

Score based play calling for the 4Q was active (checked).

Yea, I see that so it is probably intended but I'd argue the point of spiking is the time the clock stops as in the NFL if we are to follow the realism path.

even in the NFL, a tick or two comes off the clock on a spiked ball on a live play clock. It would be one thing if the previous play was incomplete.
Sure my dots could use that salary on a home, cars, and stuff...but he spent it all on ale & whores.

And if there's a spike after an incompletion or out of bounds play I would say we have a true bug.

Recent adjustments to the end of half/game logic in casual make this tread obsolete.
