"I'm going to cry about consequences for breaking rules that I know I'm breaking." Yeah, that's the worst thing about the game - me. News flash: you are not tortured-soul revolutionaries claiming that your heartfelt manifestos being suppressed by a tyrannical force dedicated to controlling the thoughts of the masses. You are just another person breaking just another rule. There is no deeper significance. You're probably not an idiot; don't act like one.

As to the OP, I'm enjoying the game, still.

But in the end.. I am still enjoy her and GLB....

But also I may be a glutton for misery and can't really enjoy anything unless it treats me like shit..

Either way.. I'm still here

So everyone bitched that GLB wasn't out of beta so all the large scale changes would stop, now that it is out of beta, people are bitching that there aren't any more large scale changes? You people are fucked in the head.

I think they will make some positive adjustments in the offseason. That is not an official word because they don't tell me this stuff in advance but just a very strong hunch. Part of the key to long-term success on this game in my opinion is not overreacting. You don't have to sell out and totally revamp your roster or AI just to try and take advantage of the exploit du jour to win in this game. If you do, chances are it's because you sold out previously to take advantage of last season's exploit du jour. Exploit may be too strong a word and I do sympathize with people who had a lot of STOPs because they should not have nerfed that nearly as hard as they did, but for others besides the STOP teams that got screwed, don't overreact. Build good players and be solid in every aspect of the game and you will have long-term success. That is my philosophy at least and it has worked for me so far.
You could always not post.

Outside of banking up a bunch of STOP's...i dont see where people are coming from with conflicts in rosters due to sim changes...it is all in their head. Make the builds work, not the sim work.
Dear foofighter24, your hatred for the site moderation made me decide not to build a pee wee squad in season 34. That is $130 this game won't be getting. I hope the tears are worth it. The game is not dying, you are killing it.

TPat, I agree. Problem is, its taken 28 seasons for things to make football sense. My first team was built for football, not dotball. Finally, building players who make FOOTBALL sense will pay dividends. Its the whole 28 season thing that baffles me. Fortunately, I built a team this time that should cover all the bases unless Punters start doing end arounds (don't laugh, it could happen)/

I think so too.
Any if I suddenly disappear it probably just means I quit like everyone else.

I still love this game. It's just that most people have become way too serious about it. I don't think GLB took the fun factor away. I think the userbase actually did that.

It went from focusing on winning your league to "win WL or nothing else matters". It went from watching your dot's notable plays in replays to becoming obsessed with the actual sim mechanics. We no longer compare our dots stats but rather their ELs and Player Value.
