You can't completely eliminate the problem but cutting down on how many teams there are certainly helps

Not exactly. I mean if they have an AI in place and everyone sets their equipment/tactics/va's sure. But there are a lot of teams that don't even bother with that. But like I said...there are a bunch of teams littered around with 30 players or less on them too. CPU or shit team with 30 players or less...its all the same.

Essentially what they need to do is give incentive to win at every level. Maybe the rich get richer...i dunno...but sure as hell beats the current setting.

I don't think it would matter, unless Bort consolidates leagues, other then that, you will always have more then one cpu team in every league regardless

my team practically ran a bort defense to a minors CC game so its possible.

But if there were less CPU teams with like 3 or 4 humans on them they would likely go to those teams currently struggling to find a team.

Im not worried about the fact that farm teams dont really give a shit cause that wont suddenly change. But those teams who cant find players because they are littered around 20-30 teams that are all pretty much empty, those are the ones that are hurt the most

Of course it is possible. Mostly because there is no incentive to win.

Just because you give away less teams does not make them

A) Try
B) Fill their roster

The problem isn't giving away teams willy nilly...it is that there is no incentive not to just sit on a team and do nothing. Hell you even move up the ladder of minors regardless of doing absolutely nothing season after season.

I've also said that a million times and dpride had a huge thread about it a few months ago. I guess they would rather kill non boosters

I still like my old idea for free/discounted team ownership with stiff criteria. Just motivation to keep the quality teams in quality owners hands while having the crappily run teams pay so to maintain their ownership. Imo, sacrificing flex from quality team owners doesn't hurt anyone because that owner is likely just creating another dot (which nets more flex for GLB) instead or burning more flex on scrimmages.

More than anything you would be establishing an incentive to meet the given criteria (whatever they would be, 50+ players and whatnot). You could even slightly raise the flex price for purchasing a team to essentially push poor owners out of ownership.

I would hate to see the wait list brought back. If not for all the cpu teams in regional pro I wouldn't have a reason to log in and see my crap dots have a chance to put up unrealistic stats that I prefer to see regardless of who wins or the final score.

1) Require a team to have at least 50 human dots by day 0 or strip and delete the team.
2) Sub WL competition, if a team has 2 seasons of 4 wins or less in a row they are stripped and deleted.
