Keep an eye on the FS. posted the play in my team forums and several members sugested i post the play in here for awareness.

Actually it is a bit weird but on a ton of different things, vision checks for things behind the line of scrimmage do not work as one might think it would. It isn't until after the player crosses the line of scrimmage that the FS even makes a vision check to go after the player. And since he was simply in a zone probably eying somebody other then the HB, he did what he was suppose to as stupid as that sounds. He waited until the HB crossed the LoS before abandoning his zone post.

Can see why you posted as a bug, but you are correct thats its a (very badly) missed vision check.

Firstly defenders in deeper zones have a hard time passing the vision check on outside runs at all levels, so to see something like this early in a players career is not unusual.

Secondly the FS starts the play with very little energy and low morale, this will decrease his performance, and ability to identify and react to the play.

On this play the FS just continually fails the vision checks right up until the HB is at his level, at which point its more or less an automatic pass in this situation.

You'll see similar happening at all levels, when in zone or blitzing, just not to this degree.
