It takes a few attempts to get proficient enough with it. Definitely worth the time to use it, though.
Good health is simply a slower rate of death.

I'm trying the virtual player builder that runs off the skill points page, but I keep encountering what seems like an error. Qhen I boost to level 74 it gives me 26 instead of 6 skill points. Am I doing something wrong?

This is normal. Once a player uses their 25th boost they receive a 20 SP bonus.
IIRC this was added right at the same time as the 'Free' players.

That's how the game works. I forget why they did this and can't find any links, but there was a reason.

It was done as a boosting incentive. Just another reward for boosters.

When applied you get messages in the build notes telling you when to switch training, spend SPs etc, everything you did while doing the Virtual Build.

Frankly, I'd be happy if we could integrate the VPB with a decent build value/effective level calculator...

It IS playing the game.
Just doing it ahead of time and then having an easy way to keep those notes with the player profile.

There's actually a Greasemonkey script for that. So it does exist.
