I would suppose the graphics are not accurate but are they really that far off?

Blocks are hard to make. Since you cannot tackle the place holder-

May 8, 2011
- Make sure placeholder cannot be tackled on field goal or extra point kicks

Players that get to the ball too quickly can tend to bounce off the place holder. But besides that, the roll to actually make the block has been described by bort as very difficult.

I've seen much worse examples over the past few seasons. Sometimes the rushers are shaking hands with the kicker as he boots it through. Srsly.

I get it that blocks shouldn't happen too often, but the fix is at the interaction between rushers and blockers, not the actually FG block roll. Otherwise we get what we have now - it looks very silly to have a kicker boot a 55 yard FG while someone is humping his leg.

bort even said in the last q&a that he needs to fix the graphics. not sure why these are the only plays where the graphics have absolutely nothing to do with the result

It should be set that if you make contact with the holder before the kick that it is an automatic block

yeah, it's weird that a DE, without tunnel vision or any pass rushing va's activating blows through a center without flinching.
