Recent mistakes and oversight in the casual pro promtion process has mandated that a change be made. Currently onlt th bottom 2 teams from each conference are replaced by the 4 conference champs (at least that is the official policy, that policy has been repeititely violated in recent season)
For regular leagues, where thwere are 5 pro leagues including wthe work 20 team turnover may serve the 224 teams that await at the semi-pro level 20/224 = 10% turnover
For the casual there are 128 teams competing for 4 spots, a 3% turnover. This is inadequate turnover ratio?

My suggestion is that a casual pro team have the same chance if going pro as the regular teams

1, the lower 6 teams from each conference are demoted leaving the top 10 winning record teams in place
This will allow. 12 replacent teams or 10% chance like in the pros

The 12 teams should include the winners of the 4 elite conference ,
And 8 more teams , perhaps the conferrnce winners in 3,4
And. Semifinal teams in each of the elite conferences .
An alternate would be to draw all 12 out of the 4 elite conferrnce , so 3 from each meaning the final semi final and 3rd team would be top record .

Agreed.

I'm not sure what the proper number to demote is, but I feel it's definitely more than we are currently doing

Bottom 4 should demote not bottom 6 IMO. World League can demote bottom 8 because there's so much depth at the Pro level; Casual does not have that luxury.

I personally think the bottom 5 from each conference should drop. That still leaves 11 teams in each conference and still allows plenty of new competition, keeping the schedules fresh. Some teams that would be great competition end up rebooting because of fail promoting. More spots open up, the greater the chances this doesn't happen.
