In yesterday's game, http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=79005, our RB settings were on 80/0, which should, in theory, allow the starter to play for a while before getting subbed out.

He carries the ball on the first play from scrimmage, then goes to the bench.

Possible bug, or do I just not understand the settings that clearly? Or is it just that he lost 20 energy from one play (God, I hope not).

edit: Apon checking, SEVERAL of the offensive starters subbed after that first play.

LG, RG, FB, HB

The settings for all the linemen were 80/88
FB and HB were both 80/0

Doesn't seem right for them to be subbing so soon

I'm pretty sure the same thing happened with my WRs.

45 missed tackles in one game by multiple players when last season we had 65 total as a team. Slightly confused by this as everyone on our team (even DB's and Safeties) are 35+ on tackling.

Here is just one example of the missed tackles:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=81199&pbp_id=302106

We also had problems with passes being dropped but I'm pretty sure that we can fix this.

Other things to remember for this;

Win and Loss streaks are 3 games I believe.
fan support is modified as follows:
High = +2 x win/loss streak
Med = +1 x win/loss streak
Low = +.5 x win/loss streak

start winning and you can up the prices!

Also, when you do sell tickets, you will fill your sideline, then your corner sections, then your endzones. So you have to wait till they fill up before you will sell the next section of tickets. You want to sell the more expensive seats first, right?

That's wrong! that's the opposite!

Low is growing faster than high!!!

DOH, Cedo, you're much more qualified for this than I am.

LOL no problem, no need to say that, i'm flushing
GLB was fun but League structure has killed the fun!

Does not happen in football.

EDIT: I just noticed a run stopping DE get stonewalled by a WR. Right.

That's the logical way to do it. Of course, logic has about as much effect on GLB as sorcery.

A WR 3 levels lower to boot.

I understand that break tackles are "working as intended", but perhaps we need to "intend" them to work differently. I don't want to have to soft cap my tackle ability just to bring guys down without Wrap-up.

35 missed tackles... top 3 in missed tackles are in same neighborhood as your team you mentioned...

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=81668 (Amsterdam Defense)

This doesn't compute when we missed just 6 tackles in our 1st scrim...

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=81669

I'm open to the argument that it takes more to bring down a power running back which the opponent certainly had but not 35 missed tackles...

Seriously, I'll start running our 70 strength G/T/DT guys out there at RB if that's what it's coming down to...

to follow up on last post...

Our end of season Scrimmage vs. Wies last season: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=77424

Our preseason Scrimmage vs. Wies today: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=81668

A difference of 25 missed tackles (for our team with half decent to decent tackling #'s) over the course of what... 10 days against the same team?

"decent to half decent tackling #'s"

... such like 30-35 strength, 40-50 tackling, 40+ agility, 30+ speed, 35+ vision, 25-30 confidence?

well... in that case the powerbacks should have no more than 5 broken tackles!

(+ the tackles you let those powerbacks get to your secondary; CBs sure won't stop a powerback in season 4)
