Adam Schefter: Good day to you all. I am Adam Schefter. And with me today is the starting strong safety of the GLB USA "A" East Miami Perfection. Thank you for joining me today.

Ravage Darkness: *scoffing slightly* I should be thanking you for having me.

AS: We have a lot of things to cover. But first, let's talk about you. First of all, how did you end up with a name such as yours?

RD: *laughing slightly* It's a funny story really. It starts off with my last name. According to some of my family's history, the first of my family was born after a tragedy or disaster. I believe a fire wiped out the home he was living in. But instead of being down on himself, he started climbing the wreckage, pretending he was scaling some high mountain. His dad, who had a unique... and sarcastic sense of humor, looked at him, scoffed, and said "Aren't you a rolling shadow of Darkness". Since then, the name stuck and found it's way as a last name.

As for my first name... My dad's a transformers fan. And one of his favorite transformers was the Decepticon Ravage. And so, that's how my nickname came to be.

AS: Interesting. How did you find your way into the GLB.

RD: Well, I started when graduated out of Florida Atlantic University and played my last season of football. I went undrafted, so I went overseas for a bit, hoping to find a team. So eventually I heard of the Goal Line Blitz, which is like a league of leagues, much like how the National Wrestling Alliance was back in the days when they had their territories.

So, I ended up with the Volgograd Pumas of the European AAA Zeta, who are now known as the Helsinki Hell Raisers.

AS: So the Miami Perfection weren't the first team you've played with?

RD: No.

AS: So, how did you end up back home area in Florida's southern Tri-County Area?

RD: After, I played one game for them, when I was called up by the FO. They said I was scouted and asked if I was interested in being traded to the Miami Fish. I said sure. I have nothing against Volgograd, and if it wasn't for them, I'm not so sure I'd end up with the Perfection. But home is where the heart is, and my home is in South Florida.

AS: So fater going undrafted, do you have any grudges against the NFL's Miami Dolphins?

RD: No. I'm still a devoted fan of them, actually.

AS: Even after last season?

RD: Heh... I'd still be a fan if they went 0-16.

AS: So, I take you enjoyed the last Super Bowl.

RD: *jokingly* I'm not going to confirm, nor deny, that statement.

AS: *laughing* Of course. Now, let's talk playoffs. Your team was recently eliminated by the Detroit Football Guys. Can you described what happened?

RD: No excuses from us. They came in and played a better game. They were able to move the ball and give our defense hell, basically.

AS: How was the team feeling after that point?

RD: Well, nothing much to say really. We were disappointed in ourselves, even though a lot of people said we had a great run. But we eventually got over it and moved on. All we can really do is just train to get better and better. I did feel sorry for Craig Pierre.

AS: Why is that?

RD: One hour after the regular season ended for us, he was signed off of the street to be our fifth corner, and already he had a great performance during the Detroit game. But... he's type of guy that gets pissed off if he's having a tremendous performance, but his team still loses. He'd quickly trade that interception for a win any time. Plus, he already went through so much as it is.

AS: Like what?

RD: He was my teammate for a couple of years back in college. But, his career was cut short when some guys jumped him and put a pipe to his ankle because they lost a lot of money on a game that he salvaged for us.

AS: What was he doing the whole time he was on the street, football-wise?

RD: He was, and still is, our main writer for us in the Sun-Sentinel Sports section.

AS: So I'm guessing time restraints was the reason there hasn't been an article for your team after the loss.

RD: Absolutely.

AS: Moving on now, let's talk about the regular season. What do you believe was your team's biggest win?

RD: It was definitely our win against the Columbus Crush.

AS: How so?

RD: Before the Crush, we lost two games, and a lot of fans back home was questioning whether we could beat a playoff threat. We silenced when he, admitedly, survuved the Crush.

AS: Which play do you think was your biggest play?

RD: Again, I have to go back to Carolina. My forced fumble to start of the fourth quarter.

AS: Interesting, I was expecting you to say your interception. Why the force fumble?

RD: The criticism I've mentioned before? Well, quite a bit of that was aimed at yours truly. I was starting to miss a lot of tackles, quite a few that would have been great plays. And you start seeing your name creeping towards the top of the "Most missed tackles" list... well, you know.

AS: True, so what did you do to improve your technique?

RD: I took technqiue advice from my tackling partner Unstoppable GridIronKing34, who I call UGK, and my partner in crime in the secondary Van Dolphan, and it worked wonders.

AS: Speaking of your teammates, who are you most close to on the team.

RD: We all are pretty close. Other than the secondary... it's hard to pinpoint one person. I tend to hangout with UGK in the film room a lot, since we always seem to be only a few steps away form each other on a tackle. Then there's The Mor. He's quite a character. And there's Worren Sopp. No one knows where he comes from, but he's a great person to hangout with at the local bar.

AS: Speaking of The Mor, I realize he had a press conference earlier this year regarding allegations of steroid use. Let's take a look.

Is he telling the truth.

RD: Let me squash this now. The Mor never used steroids. What happen was that he came to me asking if I could use some of my creatine. Problem was, was some guy, who is not affiliated with the Perfection at all, over heard him asking "Can I use some of your... stuff?" He didn't even stick around to hear The Mor clarify that he meant creatine, decided to sell his "inside info" with the press. And what happens? "The Mor is reportedly using PED's!"

AS: But what about his drop in his performance?

RD: Everybody gooes through those. Even I do. And besides, our quarterback, King Byroan, tends to change his favorite every week, so factors a lot into that as well.

AS: Okay. Final question. How did your team come to the name "Perfection"? Was it a case of you all being conceited, as a lot of people think?

RD: Not at all. It's basically us homage to the 1972 Miami Dolphins. That's it. We didn't call ourselves the Perfection because we think we're perfect. I mean, we were defeated before we changed our name after all. All it is, is an homage. Nothing more, nothing less.

AS: Well, thank you for this insightful interview.

RD: And again thank you for having. Next time you're in town, call me. We'll play some All-Pro Football 2k8... or Madden if you must.

AS: Will do. This is Adam Schefter, signing out.
